This might be quite interesting.

Much to choose from and the selections will change almost daily but

My selections show my age sadly

1 Virtually by Soft Machine from Soft Machine 4
2 Blessed Relief by Frank Zappa
3 Elegy written by Jules Massenet but performed by the matchless pianist Art Tatum

So, so difficult to pick just three, but here goes.

Blue Monday - New Order
Levi Stubbs' Tears - Billy Bragg
Stuck In The Middle With You - Stealers Wheel

There was a very good documentary on BBC4 a few weeks back about Gerry Rafferty, well worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
So, just had to throw something of his in, the connection with Reservoir Dogs was the clincher.

Hard to choose three from my personal favourites but I love Solveig's Song (Grieg).

Difficult to choose two more and on a different day there would be different choices

I love all of Sibelius especially The Swan of Tuonela

Whenever I hear Pictures at an Exhibition I think of Repin's portrait of the composer as a wild dishevelled alcoholic, yet he could compose a piece of exquisite beauty.

I like that SOAD track but I think songs from their previous albums are superior; almost all of toxicity plus suite pee and sugar (obviously).

The Notorious BIG track called Hypnotize is also superior imo.

Youtube have the second ever live performance of Desolation Row

If you have heard the song many times it's great to hear the audience, obviously hearing it straight off the wall, picking up on the humour straight away.
