Fair enough,i didn't mean it in that context but in the European court after ruling that your (UK) bulk data collecting will be deemed illegal.

I won't be no way any expert in this but it seemed as if being granted was an open goal (adequacy decision), simplified the EU won't be giving you their data.

The Tories don't want a level playing field for the British people. They want an advantageous playing field for Corporations, British or otherwise, and the British people pay for it.

Let corporations produced goods in China, India, Bangladesh etc.

1) Products are made very cheaply due to slave labour conditions.
2) Bypass UK/EU environmental laws and save even more
3) Charge UK consumers top wack, but less than UK firms who can't compete and go bankrupt
4) Destroy UK manufacturing by millions of jobs.
5) Get the media to blame the shade of somebody's skin for not having a job.

The current Government has been doing this for years. Do you think it will turn a new leaf when we leave the EU, or do you think it will be considerably worse?

LFC facts are wonderful,In 1666 Charles II granted Bruges 50 fishing vessels to be allowed fish British waters ad infinitum to show his gratitude for something or other.
That was all forgotten about til 1963 til a Belgium fella started fishing galore off Hastings,he was arrested but the CPS were advised to drop the case and let him off.
Report ----you-have-to-laugh--- October 9, 2020 12:12 PM BST
Having been driven from Britain in 1651 by Oliver Cromwell, Charles initially sought refuge in Paris and the Cologne. However, when he attempted to reach Brussels he was barred by Philip IV of Spain who wanted to avoid a conflict with Cromwell. The two princes secretly agreed to join forces to regain the British throne for Charles and to allow Charles to settle anonymously in Bruges.[1] During his stay in Bruges, Charles was an active member of the civil society of Bruges and became a member of the Saint Joris Guild, through which he made some strategic friendships. When Oliver Cromwell was succeeded by his son Richard, Charles went to Brussels (1659) in order to prepare his return to Britain. In June 1660 he officially regained the throne of England. In 1666 his earlier guide and friend in Bruges, the knight Arrazola de Oñate was named "exceptional" ambassador to Charles by the Spanish king Philip IV with the intention to negotiate a trade treaty. Although the treaty has been lost, the City of Bruges still possesses a charter granting privileges to the fishermen of Bruges to fish in English waters.[citation needed] The charter was never really tested until 1851 due to the numerous conflicts that affected Europe between its signing and the mid nineteenth century.

In 1963, the issue of the Charter of 1666 came to the fore once more when a certain Victor Depaepe wrote to the Belgian Prime Minister, the British Prime-Minister (Harold Macmillan) and the British Queen informing them that he wished to avail himself of the rights granted under the charter of 1666. He informed them that he intended to be arrested so that he could press his claim in the English courts. On 8 July his ship "'King Charles the Second" (Z.264) was accosted by the Royal Navy off the coast of Seaford (East Sussex) The case never came before the courts and according to papers released in 1993 under the 30 year rule it became clear that the British legal team advised the British agriculture minister to avoid a court case because they considered that the Charter was still legally enforceable.

For domestic consumption apparently he's told them 'what's what"Laugh. Pointless - they are not negotiating they are busy elsewhere. Merkel only mentioned call with Armenian PM - more important issue for Europe than Brexit. They have given up - given up trying to save us from ourselves.

Johnson making same mistake as May - thinking they can have side conversations with France and Germany (and Ireland). Doesn't wash, despite what UK press think, they alone do not make the decisions. Every member will have to agree for any trade deal. Indicative of the same old underlying problem - the UK just doesn't understand the EU.

Latest EU directives is for "no deal" - we'll continue after January, UK will operate as a 3rd country - they are not wasting any more time with those charlatans.  More telling is the new EU statement saying any deal or mini-deal will only happen when accompanied by rigorous enforcement rules.

Support for Brexit amongst UK population down to 35%.  (assume it's higher on here, given the demographic profile Laugh  )
Wishing to rejoin at 57% (miles higher than the 52% who voted Brexit) up by 7% from 2017
Gloomy economic outlook at the heart of the ebbing away of support.

opinion polls can be wrong in either direction, so a premise of "a different thing was once wrong, so that's wrong" wouldn't stand up to the scrutiny of a 5 year old.

As it was a 2019 survey(they weren't 'wrong' by the way, they were the figures of the survey), and given where we are economically, it's short odds on lower than 35% still support Brexit.  But you crack on with your idiocy.
