Come on Nigel, start a new party please! Political punters need serial losers like you.

The Brexit Party still exists, Nodel Farage is still the leader, why should he need to start another at this juncture?

We can't be competitive on a level playing field.

We need to do what we've always done and invade somebody for their resources. Thoughts on who?

Is he making any money out of it? That's the only thing that matters to Nigel.

Maybe, but I think he has enough already.

Was he not in the news recently about starting some sort of new party? I can't recall exactly what it was.

I didn't see it. The BXP could be repurposed next year, UKIP is still lurking after yet another leadership change, it's a crowded field. Perhaps the idea of such a proposal was to keep Mr Pfeffel honest (if that's the right word).

Thanks, how many one-trick parties do you need?
What is needed is a proper right of centre party to supplant the continuity Blair party that masquerades under the Conservative banner and has done so since 2010. How successful it would be is anybody's guess, I think most of the public have been brainwashed in Eurocommunism for so long now that they have become unthinking zombies and we're destined to drown in the socialist mire before long.

So what did Farage mean by, ''if we finish up stuck with a level playing field,''

I'm afraid the OP has completely misunderstood what Farage was talking about.

We can't be competitive on a level playing field.

The onlt way we ewould have a level playing field with the EU is if pound was the same value as the euro and more importantly the British establishment had the same attitude to the EU and how it works as the French and Germans. Britain as never understood how to exstract the most out of the EU membership and was always confused about the rules and how to bend them.

The level playing field Farage is referring to, is that we would still have to adhere with the EU rules which leaves us on the same trading disadvantages with the rest of the world as the EU.

We're supposed to leaving the EU to shake free of the Brussles' shackles.

imagine if the tory,s had left the EU 40 YEARS AGO WE,D NOW HAVE
40,000 working in shipyard,s
40,000 in steel industry
40,000 down the mines
all propped up by state aid and another few 1000,000 migrants doing the jobs these people in these industries cant do, or maybe not LaughLaugh,

a tory government pretending their worried about state aid is laughable, many a tory PM happy to blame no help for struggling industries on the back of the EU for 40 years, think cameron, mrs may and souboury the latest blaming the EU for not been able to help the steel industry, even though the EU explained how they could get involved like in italy, france, germany

the schoolboy error the brexit lemmings have been led to believe is that been a so called sovereign country gives you as equal footing as another sovereign country,as though norway, malta dont have to bow down, give up bigger concessions to the likes of usa,eu,china, japan, etc, etc in trade talks
as the uk is about to with the EU and will be with usa ,china in the future
By:

The EU is trying to prevent us expanding our trade with the rest of the world after we leave, by shackling us with EU regulations.

This is unacceptable.

Why is it that the EU fear a UK that is not under their control?

I'd see it as after giving you the carrots of free trade,no tariff, shared data bases etc that you won't turn around and undercut the EU competition wise with cheaper tat Dr C,who could blame them?

its not doing anything of the sort the uk could have left on any day for the last 4 years ,can leave today, tomorrow, yesterday, but they signed and celebrated signing the WAB so have to leave honouring the WAB
funny that the big argument from brexiteers for 4 years about the WAB  was the 40 billion quid divorce bill and it now never gets a mention, their happy to pay 40 billion for a no deal they could have had for nothing, they kept telling us,till the bloke they elected signed it away

He only signed it because as he said in his column "i was having a torrid time",that seems to be a good enough excuse for the electorate.

As is so often the case Dr C is right.
What is purported to be a level playing field is tilted heavily in favour of Germany and maintained by the shackles of the euro and a plethora of rules and standards. We should not fall for this trick and it is high time we made it clear that we are leaving on WTO terms and we should do it now. The EU is not negotiating in good faith and never has, time to call an end to this charade.

Maybe a bit, hypothetically if no lpfs were there how would you(UK) get on? Would the financial sector be the only one that would really matter? Would going against the EU in a "free market" work,or just not be a good thing for both sides?

how can a level playing field be tilted against us

you brexiteers wanted your jam and to eat it

funny guys constantly getting it wrong and twisting when it hits home

damaged our economy and now talking us down as uncompetitive on a level playing field

It is not a level playing field because we carry the greatest burden , great things and small things
In Britain near things ,  and far away

But bad for others such as the U.K.
