If the only way for Brexit to happen was to have Corbyn in power then yes I would give up on it.

Why?

Corbyn is planning on keeping free movement of people from the EU and handing out the right to vote in national elections.
For ROW he is planning on NOT having a system based on wage levels to make sure newcomers can support themselves.

That makes controlling the quality and levels of immigration will not benefit from Brexit it will get worse.

He also wants to stay in a Customs Union and alligned to parts of single market.

That means we do not get control of trade policy, regulations and still chunks of money to the EU.

So Brexit would be pointless under Corbyn.

The BBC has now spoken to several people who went on the overseas "trade missions" with Boris Johnson to Malaysia and Singapore, to New York, and to Tel Aviv.

They said that Jennifer Arcuri seemed a bit out of place on the trips, as her companies were much less substantial than those of the other participants,

Jennifer Arcuri was originally turned down for the trip to Malaysia and Singapore, but then re-applied using a different company and was accepted.

She was told her companies were not relevant for the trip to New York, but she went under her own steam and was allowed into some of the events.

She was also turned down for the Tel Aviv trip, but Boris Johnson's office intervened and she was allowed to join the trade mission. She paid for her own flight, and although the organisers of the trip, London & Partners, booked a hotel for her, she settled the bill.

Jennifer Arcuri, the entrepreneur whose friendship with Boris Johnson is the subject of a police watchdog investigation, loaned more than £700,000 to her own fledgling technology company shortly before it won a £100,000 government grant.

It is unclear where the money channelled to Hacker House, a start-up with hardly any income, came from. This adds to the mystery swirling around the American businesswoman before this week’s Tory conference and raises further questions for the government.

One person who knew Arcuri was “stunned” to learn that company accounts show her loaning Hacker House £713,354 last year. Other firms set up by Arcuri are in the red or have been dissolved. Her main company, Innotech Network, has negative assets of more than £350,000 and she is reportedly being sued in the US over an unpaid $100,000 student loan.

Questions have now emerged as to how the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport established that the company was viable. The DCMS has admitted waiving a rule that any grant should not exceed half the company’s revenue. “The department needs to explain how their due diligence procedures were followed,” said Lib Dem MP Layla Moran.

The DCMS has suspended payment of a second tranche of the grant to Hacker House pending its investigation.
Report Angoose September 28, 2019 8:45 PM BST
From the Hacker House website

In 2012, Jennifer founded one of London’s leading tech conferences, The Innotech Summit, a high profile event series which brought together key policy makers, corporations, and startups to bridge the gap between legislation and innovative technology. In 2014-2015, the Innotech Network specialised in a series of events around information security and the need for cyber skill.

It brought together law enforcement and influential leaders from the Prime Ministers office, Department of Culture and Media, Metropolitan Police for the City of London, Ministry of Defence, and the National Crimes Agency. These events, as well as the community movement of hackers in a house, lead to one of the strongest ethical hacking campaigns in the UK for the endorsement of educating and teaching ethical hacking skills.

Her work became most popular during her Tedx Talk in Liverpool “Why ethical hacking is important in a 21st century” which helped encourage policy in the UK around education and cyber skills advocacy in the classroom. Jennifer was also an integral part of various skills campaigns across the UK including speaking in classrooms across London surrounding the issues of cyber bullying, what to do in case of a security breach, and children’s safety online. Through her efforts in legislation, events, and security, Jennifer started Hacker House as a community of hackers in east London in 2014.

Unaudited and incredibly basic, achieving little more than satisfying a compliance requirement for a micro entity.

An interest free loan of £713,354 is noted in the accounts for the year ended 31 July 2018, being included in short term creditors.
However, the capital and reserves figure increased by £679,207, thus it appears to be little more than a paper transaction to increase share capital.

Not particularly obvious why you would do this, you typically wish to minimise capital as, once in, it is not easily taken back out.

Jennifer Arcuri’s laptop containing personal details from her time with Boris Johnson has been stolen.
The American former model’s computer was snatched in Britain in the past 10 days.

And the former model, who allegedly told friends she had an affair with the PM, is terrified the information will be leaked.

It is said to contain personal information including pictures, emails and calendar dates from when she was close to Mr Johnson, who was London Mayor at the time.

One friend of the 34-year-old said: “Jennifer is extremely agitated and upset.

"Her laptop contains so much personal information covering the time she knew Boris.

"She is racking her brains as to what it may hold.

"There are pictures, emails and documents on the laptop which she is terrified could be hawked around if someone gains access to it."
