My voting position was influenced by who I dont want to vote for. Cannot vote Conservatives while they are pro-hunting for fun. Cannot vote Labour while they use knee-jerk reaction politics. Cannot vote Lib Dems while they want to prevent minor crimes being punished. It's about avoiding the worst party, which is why a hung parliament seems an ideal solution, and hence Lib Dems seem the choice to obtain that.

Conservitives
- stance on Europe
- ambigious policies
- seems similar to labour
- I do not think that basing all the future of the economy can be repaired by just cutting waste

Labour
- same old
- wants to increase national insurance
- does not want to reduce the deficit

Lib Dems
- wants to get rid of Trident (although unclear if they want to replace it?)
- immigration

No, because if you were listening you would have noticed that Brown when making the comparison included those LIVING and working abroad, with those working here, which is the usual trick.
The Brits in Europe will include tens of thousands who retired to europe and do not work, but actually spend their large pensions there.
And as I previously explained, those Brits that do work abroad will be dispersed between many countries, unlike the UK where we take the whole million, hardly the same is it?

I'm not agreeing with the person who posted that, I was just explaining to you what he was saying. But for your latter argument, yes, it is the same. If the numbers were equal as the previous poster suggested, and I dont know whether they are or not, but if they were, it is not important where the Britons work, but just the numbers in/out of this country, because the question is about net migrant workers. If 50 British people go anywhere within Europe and the same number come into the UK, it is a net total of zero. Where they work outside of the UK is not important. If 50 British people go from the UK to Europe to work and then 50 people come from every country in Europe to the UK to work, then your argument would make sense.

I just think that the economy is his specialist subject. Expect lots of facts and figures.

Brown may live on another planet but he was partly responsible for the ' part-global ' state of the economy. He sucked up to the City and created [ at great expense ] an organisation called the FSA which singularly failed in its prime task to regulate the City [ and which reported directly to him as First Lord of the Treasury [ ie the PM ]. Other countries, such as Australia, had sensible banking regulations and financial controls and did not suffer as we did.

Yes, fuuuucking the economy IS his specialist subject . Expect lots of totallly misleading figures . ' No more boom and bust ' and ' We are welll placed '

I understand what you are saying, but as I pointed out Brown was not comparing like with like on the figures.
Its also a question of effect/fairness, lets say your 50 Brits are evenly dispersed throughout Europe, they take, what, just 3 jobs in each Country, whilst the 50 leaving means a balance of 47 vacancies, to be filled by locals.
By contrast, all 50 arriving in UK will require a job.
