Interesting article in paper today comparing how Redknapp is being pursued by the tax man for £10 unpaid tax with MP's **ing of capital gains tax. They are allowed to pay back the sums involved without prosecution but the same facility may not be afforded to ole 'arry. Reminds us all that the self servng pile of shoyte in Westminster are looking for any way out.

Depends. I've got a proper gardener who gets £12 but I hired a few kids to do the weeds at £5.

I would think 10k is a few days wages to Harry, his legal fee's would probably be more than that!.
Report treetop December 22, 2009 11:07 PM GMT
Its not the money bentley but the fact that MPs are allowed to pay it back ,and more, to avoid prosecution but 'arry will not be given that opportunity.

£10k is relaive small fry.
Periodically the authorities pick on a figure known to the public as a preetnce that they are pursuing it vigliantly.

The Banks employ people specifically to help with tax avoidance, many of our larger companies operate complicated webs of subsidiaries to "mitighate" their tax.
Dont care much for Harry but feel he is being made an example of while bigger culprits are ignored.
