seems reasonable to me, so long as the cameras are pointing out, not in.
Suppose you had neighbours who were constantly causing you problems ... chucking rubbish in your garden or stones at your windows or intimidationg your kids. So you go to the cops and complain, but, of course, every time a copper is around the neghbours behave ... so how to you prove they're causing a real problem and its not just you being hyper-sensitive, short of having a a cop hiding in your house 24/7, which i'd guess would be a lot more costly than a CCTV. |

Like many parts of London, Croydon is a very apartheid borough. In the North of the Borough there are many poor people. This is where the crime is. There is actually a very definite and tangible dividing line, past which, it's rarely safe to venture after dark.
However, venture South and some parts are rather nice. Francis Rossi lives there. In fact, some of the houses were used in the making of the tv programme Footballers Wives. |

gus, they dont need to be inside the houses. They are setting the precedent.
Legal system wont do anything, anyway. CCTV evidence or not. |
