Well, it will secure the votes on this forum, if nothing else.

LOL its the rich who are the biggest scoungers

a few years ago a t.v pro called world in action
proved the richer you are the more state handouts you get

The problem for Labour is that their target group don't tend to vote. Perhaps they need to piggy back votes onto the text voting for X factor.
Report noddys ryde November 10, 2009 9:50 AM GMT
Larrys-agreed-if you are too idle to work you are also too idle to vote.
Report Mister E November 10, 2009 9:53 AM GMT
Agree with Larrys, real scroungers dont vote.
Pensioners still make an effort, for the last GE Gordie "introduced" a Council Tax "Grant" for OAPs. For one year only though.

labour had the last 3 elections in the bag before polling day

these lazy types spoken about here might well have not bothered to vote at the last 2 elections, they are much more likely to get off their ass and vote in a few months time with the polls being as they are
Report noddys ryde November 10, 2009 1:12 PM GMT
The middle classes turned out for Bliar. They will not do the same for the bogey.
Report Larry's Codpiece. November 10, 2009 1:25 PM GMT
Nearctic

Why would the lazy types be any more likely to vote next time around?

It wouldn't have anything to do with the gravy train pulling into the station would it?
Report Lampus November 10, 2009 2:07 PM GMT
Landowners will vote tokeep their handouts
The rich will vote to keep their handouts

Gawd bless Lampus. Pull his chord and watch him go.

Yes the poor chap seems stuck in the 19th century which is quite quaint in a way.

His views on muslims dont get the same treatment as others get on here though, for some reason. Interesting to see if someone like Big Charlie continually called them "tent-wearers"

the banks are the real scroungers!

Good ol EU-dont you love em

Wont to them any good even if the they did get Brown reelected. Just be him and the IMF stopping their benefits instead of Cameron.
Report noddys ryde November 10, 2009 4:35 PM GMT
Neither of them are capable of stopping the EU gravy train thank goodness
Report monmore man November 10, 2009 4:38 PM GMT
The Torys are already on the case. They have signed a deal to ensure that Loose Women and Jeremy Kyle are on from the moment the dole scroungers wake up till the voting stations shut.
Report Ruth November 19, 2009 8:05 PM GMT
I think that this was quite a well observed thread.

Like the original tories the labour government of Blair and now Brown has done nothing at al to stop the people who rally scrounge zillions from us. The likes of Murdoch and the massive tax scammers who pollute our country with their filth and then don't even pay tax.

Such people may well vote labour. They may vote for the other tories of course, maybe they should, after all Dave has a nice botty.
