Plagued with them. Always a female voice prerecorded message saying "Congratulations!" then telling me I've been specially selected etc etc. I don't listen to the rest of it and just put the phone down, so I don't know what it is they want me to do, but it's an obvious scam and the conmen operating it should be banned, imo.

Normally a pause before the message comes through.There is a number you can call to stop these,can't remember who you have to call.If the caller asks to speak to you personally hang up right away .

Certainly, and not sure that the TPS picks these up. Had TPS a while but they still get through,especially the US calls.

Tell them to stay on the line while you go and get a pen and paper to take down some details.
Then leave them hanging while you go shopping, wash your hair, mow the lawn.... |
