We will have a referedum on the European constitution
We will not raise the top rate of income tax.

I will stay as PM for an entire term (Blair pledge)

Manifesto not fit for toilet paper.

Will be impossible to get the voters to believe anything contained in the 2010 edition. Even mandy will struggle to spin this.

How could things be worse????????????????????????
Report noddys ryde May 2, 2009 12:39 PM BST
we could be borrowing 176 billion next year not 175 I suppose.

i guess it'll depend on just how much the banks managed to pi$$ away on bad loans ... still it's better than spending it on Trident or ID cards ... there's always a bright side imo
Report A.H HUNTER esq. May 2, 2009 1:00 PM BST
We need Trident more than ever after the way Nuliabour manage war efforts.
No saving to be made there i am afraid.

"no more boo"

dam cant remember the rest

Wit-ham just missed the best Betfair parrot prize for the 1000 time that phrase has been posted on here.

i think when the "no more boo" phrase was coined it was based on an assumption along the lines of:

"no more boom and bust, always assuming, of course, that the Directors, Executives and shareholders of our major financial institutions are sane decent human beings and not a bunch of pyschopathic self-serving money grabbing criminals."

Ah well, if we will choose an economist rather than a clinical psychiatrist to run the country, we've no-one to blame but ourselves.
Report wit-ham May 2, 2009 8:34 PM BST
yes gus the only people who seem to get shafted are the ones who do the work, it appears that and yes am repeating myself as said loads of tmes before the working populace look after the top 2/3% ie the chairman/directors and the bottom 5% i e the unemployables.
