*** GSOP Malta last longest competition ***

Starting on Tuesday I will be doing an in-running blog on the main event at GSOP Malta which will contain the usual mix of chip updates, photographs and attempts at trying to be amusing.

Betfair have kindly given me permission to run a last longest competition on here which will be run as follows....

I will later today (at around 3pm) put up the names of all the 34 Betfair players in the main event and you get to choose a player who will be representing you in the event.
It will be on a first come first served basis, each player can only be selected once so make sure you read through the thread to see who has already been taken.
Quite simply if your player is one of the last three Betfair on the list players left in the tournament then you will win a prize.
Day 1a will start on Tuesday 4th September at 14.00 and you have until then to select a player, once the tournament starts the competition is closed.

1st Prize:- $120 Betfair Live satellite ticket + Betfair merchandise
2nd Prize:- Betfair merchandise
3rd Prize:- Betfair merchandise

In terms of the merchandise I will try to acquire as much as I can, it should involve at least a hoody, a shirt and a pack of cards.  If I can get more than that I will.
