My question was intended as a joke [;)]
|
By:
Lets all hope Mr Tabatabai is available! If not perhaps another sponsored pro,it will be very interesting.I must ask tho-would a "definite" attendance by a professional- rather than a maybe be better for the community ? I am looking forward to this tourney and will be there. My poker ability is less than a rookie. But hey chipstack/cards ? see you all at the tables and enjoy.

To be fair to John he has played this tourney before ( he may well have won it the last time he played it )and does at least post on the forum. It's totally unrealistic to expect him to play every week given his schedule, and at least he is being honest and upfront about that.

Chough - he plays under the alias of kunkuwap
Bishy - why do you visit and post on a site that is "scum"? You are more than welcome to post but maybe you would prefer to go somewhere where you will be happy[:p] |
By:
He posts on the forum under the same name.

Clerical error this week too. Lets see how quickly rectified?
Ought to have a book on this each week. |

Have sent an email to the person who can fix this, hopefully there will be an update in the morning.

Password has changed to Pokerchamp - sorry for any confusion
|
By:
I see how easy it was confusing Pokerchamp and Rizzotto, doh! why didn't I think of it.
|
By:
Sorry Ovalman - it was for security reasons
|
By:
pokerchamp, not working ?
|
By:
hmmm make sure the P of Pokerchamp is a capital
Let me know if it still isn't working |

I understand if the password is changed for security reasons, but once it was decided to change it the fact that the announcement was not changed is unforgivable. Have you got a bunch of chimps deciding these things?
|
By:
lets kikk some a ss in the community game tonight ;)
|
By:
Can it be betfair's ass, please
|
By:
........the reason it wasn't changed was because I was in nightclub entertaining other Betfair customers for GSOP Live
Chipfire emailed me and I left the club and came back to the hotel to post it on the forum. This was all done in 90 minutes! |
By:
Could you have not changed it before you entertained clients ( what a lovely life you lead ) Or asked someone else to post the correction?
|
By:
Yes - that is what I should have done in retrospect
[:x] |
By:
its not good enough betfair pr when we post u should say how high
and i hope ur working 28/9 none of this 9 to 5 stuff like normal ppl lol |
By:
Joker, have you met any of betfair staff?
I find that most people who come to the defence of betfair have met the staff and therefore do not want to rock the boat where freebies are concerned. |
By:
I can't see any damage done?
Tonight's game is a $250 added freebie, maybe you shouldn't play Annie if you feel so strong? |
By:
In defence of BF poker PR, his job title gives some indication of what he does for a living. At present he is acting as a conduit for unhappy customers griping on the forum who wanted the password changing.
The issue was raised on here at 20:58 last night, I picked it up when I got home from football at 22:23 and emailed him, he then made the effort to rectify the problem within an hour which he did. Yes it should have worked in the first place, but this is at least an example of people communicating to solve a problem. |
By:
It is just that they make mistakes all the time, Ovalman. If it was the odd mistake fair enough, but they did not put on the tournie for two weeks 'due to a clerical error' The mind boggles as to how this could be a clerical error. Is no one there? You have met betfair staff as well, haven't you Ovalman?
|
By:
People on here wanted the password changing every week. That was relayed to PR, who then had to send off a request with a list of passwords for upcoming games. Someone at the other end put in next weeks password instead of this weeks.
Which makes it a clerical error. As has been said it's free money and the bloke is doing his best to make it into the tournament people want. And for the record I haven't met him, and I suspect, like me, he doesn't play it. |
By:
How come you are going all soft on betfair recently, chipfire? You keep standing up for them, it is not because you are talking to betfair now and going to meet him and all of betfair is it?
Clerical error - but they are always making errors. If you just read all of this thread then you will see that others think it is a joke, not just me. And the bloke is doing his best to make it into the tournament people want You talk like he is doing this for the love of it, he does get paid to do this you know. And he has had months and months to get it right. |
By:
I've been with BF Poker from the start Annie and yes I've met several of their staff. I want things to work for them as they've been good to me with the promotions in the past. I don't like it when things go wrong but I try to be constructive with my criticism instead of sticking more nails in.
