The red sign Ladcrooks have suspended my account, I have no access, I have over £1000 in the account.  About three weeks ago an associate who owed me £100 transferred his debt to me via a cash table, I have done this a few times in the past.  The account was suspended for this reason, a misdemeanour at worst.  I would have thought a warning would suffice.  No, they wanted documents drivers licence, bank card front, back and utility bill, the first dick I spoke to wanted the full list on his screen, including a bank statement!  I sent the proof required.  Now they will not release the funds until the other player has done the same.  The problem being he is a technophobe with no scanner, lives miles away and hates ladcrooks.  He spoke to them and told them the situation and as they were behaving like corporate twits told them so and hung up.  He doesn't want to know, and I don't blame him.
They will not release my money until he provides documents, he is not going to provide documents and they have my money! I have explained this but they just repeat themselves.........

I will reiterate that our investigation is still ongoing.  Without full
> documentation and an explanation of play from the other player involved
> the matter cannot be resolved and both accounts will remain suspended

I'll get my money 'cos I'm like that but I won't beg.

Sorry but you sound like an idiot.

Your friend is a technophobe who hates Ladbrokes but chooses to pay his debt to you by chip dumping on an online poker table on Ladbrokes.

Can you not see that makes no sense at all!

Well there's no doubt about it, this "associate" of yours is going to have to provide the documents that they ask for, simple as that really. Did you really think you could keep doing this many times without them noticing?

Or kiss goodbye to 1k+.

Your choice.

Helmuthian, you are quick to call 'idiot' I guess you are also quick to call at poker without thinking too deep.
My 'friend' uses betfair, various betting sites and thats it.  He does not even know what google is but he is a
decent card player and a shrewd gambler. We are not all so multi-talented as you and some of us are a bit older.

Turtleshead, As I have done it many times (I mean maybe 5 or 6) and never for bigger money than this (£100),  I
would of expected a warning that they will not tolerate it.  There has been no collusion and their 'fraud analyst'
can clearly see this is just a case of friends transfering money.  I don't see a problem with it really?
They should set up a facility like pokerstaas.
Why does your reply pander to these red tape twits?

Bruce willis, what a stupid reply, I bet you always ask to see what the next cards would have been?

Chipfire, I agree but when it is obvious what has happened why drag it out?

John, thanks for the tip.

You should of sat down with £200+ heads up and and done a bunch of raises and re-raises preflop once he raised to £100 you shove all-in and he fold, they can't do nothing about that plus you don't pay no rake on a mucked hand and he would of shipped you the £100 he owed you.

de 1, thanks for your self important contribution, may you find solace with your existence as you grow wiser.

As for bruce willis well, what a crook I am eh? you silly little boy.

Watcher, there were about 4 or 5 hands pretty much as you describe our 'mistake' was playing on a low stakes table, I sat down with too little, we made a mess of it apparently, but as I said I haven't done this often over the 12 years I have had the account.  I don't really personally see anything wrong with it and didn't envisage any comeback.

I see them as petty pen pushers, jealous of a winning account, if I was a big loser they wouldn't have done this.  Like I said I will not beg the twerps.  The situation is as clear as day and they refuse to release my funds.  I am letting the dust settle as I have burned bridges, I will get the dough I know, they have dealt with the situation poorly.

"I see them as petty pen pushers, jealous of a winning account"

Please tell me that post was a wind up? ShockedShockedShocked

You still can't accept that you've done anything wrong, can you?

"There has been no collusion and their 'fraud analyst' can clearly see this is just a case of friends transfering money. I don't see a problem with it really? They should set up a facility like pokerstars"

Anyone who transfers money on pokerstars has to have a proper account history. Also, the money that gets transferred cannot simply be withdrawn, it has to be played through first. Yes if you have other money in it and you are a regular player this clearly won't be a problem. But just to create a poker account, and dump cash with probably your first transaction...come off it, no reputable site would have allowed that. If your friend is as "shrewd" as you make out, he would know that.

turtlehead, I have had the account for 12 years, there has been alot of action, what have I done that is soooo bad?
By:

When: 18 May 11 20:24
In the grand scheme of things, not a lot. But if you seriously think that someone can open a brand new account, dump cash to you blatantly with their first transaction, and a major site like ladbrokes will be quite happy to allow this, you are really deluded.
By:

That has not happened, I don't know why you think it has? He has had his account longer than me, he has played at the highest level and was a finalist in their poker million, I was his gueat.  Honestly they are a bunch of coks.

Okay, I have completely got the wrong end of the stick in that part, it's just when you posted this

"The problem being he is a technophobe with no scanner, lives miles away and hates ladcrooks.  He spoke to them and told them the situation and as they were behaving like corporate twits told them so and hung up.  He doesn't want to know, and I don't blame him"

you made it sound like he was having nothing to do with them at the moment, not had an account for a number of years and was a regular player!

I still maintain my point that he should simply grow up and just send them what they ask for if he is a friend of yours, it's not going to kill him to get a few documents together and go to a shop with printing / scanning facilities to save you not being able to get your hands on over a grand, is it? Can't be much of a friend if he won't do that for you!

crook? Nah, you're just extremely stupid... I'm pretty sure if you read their t+c's it will say about chip dumping and activity like this being against their rules. But wp sir I hope they keep your account locked, next time use an easier method to transfer cash.

You can be pretty sure that until he sends the stuff in that you aren't going to see your money.  I don't see any point bleating about it. I've been through this myself with many sites and you aren't going to get anywhere by getting ar sey with them.

Even if you get a brief, they will turn round and say it is the money laundering rules.

Gary, your a nipple, why don't you think before you speak?

Bruce, your a ladyboys lover and your wish has been denied.

Hearts, go get a six pound an hour job for ladbrks

Turtleshead, I see where you coming from and understand your comments and the misunderstanding of same, he is not your ordinary kind of guy, this friend of mine, stubborn and opinionated, difficult to say the least but no worries anymore because I spoke to an english guy at ladbrks today....
He understood my position and got my account reinstated without any fuss, like I thought, I was previously dealing with muppets.

Dooberama, thanks for your well intentioned words, I've got around them this time.  I may have been a little naive but I didn't realise the implications for them as a business with regards to regulation if they were to allow this sort of thing to continue, however innocent.

Overall I am a bit dissappointed in the lack of support.  I've done nothing wrong as my new friend at ladbrks understands and there have been many hostile comments.  I guess thats forums for you.

You both show such class with your wit and articulate posts.
I imagine you will both continue to struggle with your futile dreams to make any real money in the poker world, but I do hope you find some other outlets for your frustrations.
Maybe you should do what comes naturally to you both and have a good w ank.
