i just picked it up on GSOP 7 and 8 this weekend and both just within the fringes of being paid but just miss out!

back after break. already run good and won a flip up to 8.5k. ran bad in star s 100r at same time.

started off v poorly got cards but out flopped and had to rebuy, finally nr the end of the hour managed to get doobs to let some of his luck to rub off on me and doubled up a couple of times now somewhere around average chips on 10k. gl doobs it was an experience to sit nxt to someone who hits so many cards.

I'm not going to do what I did last night which was just before 11 when it looked OK I decided to enter midnight oil to keep my table some company. Then busted out just before midnight.
I had got short in midnight oil at first 1hr 15 and got busted to 4BB. I then raised all in 3 times on trot got chips then thought why not just keep raising all in. Went from last to chipleader in 7 hands. Final tabled but could not take it down. Struggled to work this morning.

N1 Doobs... whenever i look at the stars lobby i get a headache. What was that one you were playing, turbo or not? Also whats the deal on tournies around the $100 mark starting 7pm and later UK time and finishing at a reasonable time... dont mind staying up to 2:30-3 for a 20k payoff :)
St ars is pretty terrible if you work and want to play a decent entry fee. There is a 6pm $100 one that you can enter up until 7pm. But if you enter at 6.45 you start with 30 BBs. Variance is a bit ch in that one with 600-700 entries and nothing decent until the last 9. I think that finishes about 1am
The 100r starts at 7pm, but the standard is normally v high. You can easily find youself in for $500. That finishes around 2/3 am.
There is a $150 and a $50r that I think start between 8 and 9. They both finish around 4am.
The $50 freezeout starts around 8 and finishes at 4. That one is so tilting as you can be up way past midnight for $100.
The $100 plo8 starts about 8.45, gets about 70/80 and finishes between 1am and 2.
There are a couple of cr appy turbos starting around 6 or earlier, but that is just big variance flipping.

in my limited experience of playing mtts up to $50 buyin you can give them 5000 chips and 10 minute blinds, and there will still be people going all in pre flop in the first 3 levels, so presumably they decided you may as well just give people 2000 chips and make the blinds 3 minutes.
