fair play to betfair, an excellent promo which rewarded the regs with prizes delivered within the promised timeframe.
my notebook is down for delivery by fed ex tomorrow, and this will keep me loyal to the site in the short term despite the recent issues. thanks very much.  |

yes the promotion got very little publicity from betfair itself.certainly in comparison to the ipad promo it was very low key, when in reality its things like this, that reward regulars for putting in a few extra games per day, that keep us sweet.

This did seem like a low key promo. I did not find out until the very past day and fortunately I was chatting to Ghadaffi as you do, and he blurted it out.
Also as an affiliate I would have thought I would roof receive Le some info on this but as it happens, this was a sports related promo and as I, and most of us here are poker boys, we did not get informed. But promos like this are superb IMO and hidden slur to those who visit all aspects of the betair brand. We do try protect our forum value so it's reasonable to assume other users on other pages want to do same for themselves. |

no idea what colour it is. I said to my missus that she could have it, so am going to let her open it.
Her laptop is old and dying and she wanted something lighter anyway and she only really needs it for surfing/email. This seemed to fit the bill. Will obviously be a bit peed off if they have sent me a box with a brick in it. Obviously if it is very light and you can play superfast poker on it, then I may reconsider who gets it  If it is shocking pink, she can keep it regardless |

It was more like a case of hey Klup, I know something you dont.... you were on a train at the time and just made it home before the deadline...thought I refresh your memory. Mine is blue, not pink or camouflage, sadly .. I haven't opened it because if I can't play poker on it it will only collect dust in a corner. Does anyone know if you can play poker on it? Not just Betfair I mean..the other usual sites as well...Any information from a knowledgeable person would be greatly appreciated.(obviously that excludes The Klup and McCoy Carp) |

You should be able to at least a couple tables - you will definitely be able to through the browser. Only thing you cannot really do is watch DVD's I think.

Recieved my netbook yesterday, nice piece of kit, played on stars with it last night, no problem at all.

[:)] my philips in car dvd player came yesterday afternoon, very nice piece of kit and despite what others have commented about it, actually worth a good few bob too so hoping to sell it on to some mug at least for a tidy sum [:)]
