Very thin line between love and hate and its not love on my part. I hate you simply for the fact that your an arse kisser and desperate for attention and I verbally attack anyone who is like this on forums because it just makes me sick to be honest.

Wannabe punterz? What makes you think this? I was dishing it out long before him and long after he left. If you are talking in regards to poker then yes, wannabe punterz, I am very happy to be making over $100k a year now like him and I am very grateful for his teachings of heads up poker over the years.

I play at Betfair because I enjoy the 'community feel' of the place and it does give us smaller staking players some good promotions and the weekly added value community game. So I'm with The Klup on this.
I would like to see waiting lists for the cash tables for two reasons. 1 - I don't want to be continually scrolling to see whats available - normally get beat to the button anyway as it were and 2 - I want to pick the people I play with - ie I open the table and the 1st person to appear is Bruce Willis (aka KK) looking for easy money.
Betfair akin to a football team to some of us and you dont desert your team just because they are having a bad run or are even feckin useless - ffs some people even go regularly to see Hartlepool and they don't come any worse than them.

hard as it may be to believe, hartlepool are not the worst team in england. and of course they are better than all the scottish teams, to such an extent that the best teams north of the border squabble over hartlepool cast-offs like jon daly.

AKABULA rubbish about smaller stake players, you have huge tourneys on the likes of fulltilt where a small stake player can win huge amounts if anything its harder for the smaller stake players on here to win anything that is worth talking about. The whole joy of poker is one day maybe you can win life changing amounts of money, and although winning $7k etc is not life changing it does a hell of a lot more for you than winning $400 in a $50 added tourney.

I agree with what you are saying but for me BF is the site I feel most comfortable on and I do occasionally play the bigger tournaments on here - always through a satellite tho - for the bigger win.

Yes I still promote ipoker - but I simply cannot win there. Does not suit my style of play at all.

I think its the only poker platform i dont have an overall positive roi on (i also dont have profit on stars, but played something like 8 tourneys only) hence i dont like to play much there. One thing is absolutely certain though - the best customer service ive ever received from a poker room, is the ipoker skin i promote. Seems complete opposite of betfair.

I know why people want to stay because they like being in their little clique of friends and foes but if your playing poker just for fun thats fine but if your playing poker really to win money which everyone should be doing then you have to go to another site.

You only have to look at the leaderboards on sharkscope for total profits, nearly every one is on the bigger sites, if your lucky you may get a player from pacific or another smaller site, if you want to make good money you have to leave betfair and play on a site where you can get better and make more money.

What has happened to you?  I used to chat to you at the tables and you were a nice guy and now you just seem bitter and twisted.

Is this the price for playing all this HU poker, does it send you mental as i remember Punterz went the same way.

Playing hu poker doesnt do this to me, I have had my chat turned off for the past 2 years, dont say a word at the tables, just play my game and then move onto the next game.

Like everybody in life, I have many faults, but arse kisser is absolutely not one of them.

Attention seeker, I accept that - and maybe there are some thin elements of truth in other insults you've directed at me. But I am, was, and probably will continue to be a person who likes to be involved in things. From an early age, i played all sport and joined all school clubs. At 16 became a racecourse commentator and racing correspondent, again sticking myself in the limelight.

Since joining this forum, i have got involved it arranging things - some might be trival - some might be driven by this "attention seeking" element in me - but regardless, Ive arranged things like the team event last year, forum games, and promos that we can run online because I like to see people enjoying themselves.

like to be involved in things - its the way I am and I help where i can and when i need help, i ask.

Im just being myself. You've never met me and you dont know me, yet you continue to cast stones in my direction and openly admit that you have been dishing it out long before punterz arrived and long after he has left.

u are right they never listen to our complaints when you do complain you fell like your talking to some reading off a script. this is happening once a fortnight i know as i normally play after work or days off its my way of relaxin even though i moan i actually like betfair deep down. i seemed to have noticed  since fri they added new games to tourney list might that have confused the system, i was happy the new games that  were avalible. i do think this new betfair dont give 2 hoots about loyal and regular customers at al1 but as they say they try ! i hope this is the killer to sort this mess out as im very dissapointed with such modern technology. and hurry and get games on will ya bet fair ffs!!!!!!

This cash issue is really serious - if it was a bank it would be in breach of so many regulations, I'm not sure whether Betfair falls within the same rules or not. I have requested compensation for my held monies and all I get is standard paragraphs from their Customer Services that do not even answer my simple questions. I will be reporting this issue to the FSA if Betfair do not adequately compensate affected palyers and by that I do not mean a $20k freeroll!!

I try and be realistic. I have been with betfair , the exchange, from day 1.
They were the company that impressed me most of all the companies I have ever dealt with. On all levels.The phone used to be answered within 2 rings and the staff knew their stuff.Absolutely 1st class in website design and efficiency.
They got their just rewards. Betfair is by far the richest gaming company on the planet. Their success however is based on the great idea of punter vs punter betting .They did not rest on their laurels, but were constantly looking for improvements.Eventually they dominated the market and had an absolute mountain of cash to invest.Poker was fast gaining in popularity so they decided to have a crack at that.And again they did not do things by half.They had a great product...Now the dilemma...Anyone associated with the Betfair Poker site from the early days will tell you that betfair must have lost a vast amount of money on their pokersite venture. I remember the daily 12k gt very rarely had 10k in buy ins.thats a loss of 2k ...every day... on 1 tourney alone.How times have changed.I hardly never see a tourney with overlay on ongame now. For that reason alone I could not understand why betfair did not attract more players.
Now I get to the point..It is obvious to me that the board of directors have looked at the figures and have decided that 5 years of investment without a return is a bit too much and that enough is enough.So they joined Ongame and are now running it on a shoe string with the management team working monday to friday. 9 to 5.. exactly the times when nobody plays poker.After a lot of frustration, and like you,  regrets of having lost a site that gave me great pleasure and entertainment over the years I have to come to those conclusions. I think these comments are lost on anybody in the "pokerteam", As I said often before, I would love to discuss these matters with someone who cares. Apart from fellow players I have yet to be introduced to one...

strangely enough, helmuthian is probably the forumite i have the greatest virtual affinity with (pretty much everything he posts is something i agree with), but i also love the stuff ABU posts, and i think the forum would be a lot duller place without him.

like punterz, ABU has the ability to say in a handful of words what others would take a paragraph to say. i dont think anyone could ever feel threatened by what he says, and a lot of it is genuinely funny, despite being spiteful. you could imagine going to the pub with him for a pint and being entertained, which is more than can be said for a few on here.

fair play to him he has clearly put that graft in, learnt his craft, and is making decent money. its nice to see someone who was playing 10/20/30$ stts a few years back now playing higher stakes. red was always good crack at the tables and a decent player even back then ( i was happy playing against him 9 seaters, but he put the fear of god into me heads up )and the suff he posts on the forum is just banter.

What was your alias chipfire? I was playing $10 super turbo 6paks just a couple of years ago trying to win the leaderboards each month, the reason I left betfair was they stopped they changed the leaderboards that basically meant it was impossible for heads up players to win it and I was playing the same people week in week out and it was getting so hard to make money on here.

Kulp and ABU please have your insults elsewhere this thread is about getting Betfair to sort out the many problems with he software sorted out and for me and others to get our money back.

Polymath read through the thread and you'll see why The Klup responded. Abu by his own admission is a serial abuser. The Klup is one of the good guys on here (cue for an Abu attack) and does more than anyone else to promote the community aspect of BF poker.

Maybe Klup should just ignore the insults then

I fully agree polymath.  We should ask Abu to start new threads out of courtesy. He doesn't though, because it's the only way he gets any attention. It's akin to his mother tying a pork chop around his neck so the dog can play with him.

I totally recognise that Abu suffers from severe complexic and personality disorders, and as it's in my nature to want to see people happy, I figured a couple posts to please the boy could go a long way towards reforming his brittle state of mind.

as for other requests to make site better I'd rather they make a priority in sorting out players accounts.
Quite honestly if I made such a mess up in my line of work, I'd be out of work.

Reported the rebuy issue a few times weeks ago(take money out but not give rebuy or add-on). One I got refunded with apology and additional amount, 2nd time not and they could not find it.

Clearly from e-mail we are talking about betfair link to ongame. But they should have sorted that out before going live.

At current state of play, got some refunds on sunday from entries tried, but not been paid for 2 of the 3 MTTs that I cashed in. There can't be that many MTTs running on Sunday at that time. But also it seems they had not sorted out cash and SnGos from previous day(s).

Was doing well in MTT leaderboard this month despite my limited buy in. So not playing could hurt.

Where from here? Well I'm still smarting from losing $300 on Chan Poker. Not that I deposited. I built up from free roll. What can you do? Maybe play somewhere deemed to be safer?

I play poker for the challenge, and I like winning, and I'm competitive at everything. What I do not like is when they say sorry we have a technical issue relating to players accounts and money.

And then I doubt whether they will sort it out to everyones satisfaction, and without compensation.

They have lost an awful lot of goodwill. They will probably lose a number of old customers that have said we will give it another month,... 6 months..., 1 year...

And... one of those tourneys that I have not got my cash is Sunday's Klup ILPPC, and if there was a bounty on you it's mine too! I also I know it's not your fault.

Klup's ILPPC was the best MTT I played on Sunday (for banter and for good competitive play from everyone), and that included winning Sunday morning, sating into Sunday 1/4m on stars, and then going well, and then crashing to a one-outer, as well as my deep runs but not FT in other tourneys.

BTW my Poker Stars account is larger thanks to your payment. Well done. And keep up your good work and writing to Betfair...

Concentrate on service when clearly a account issue, then your 1,2,3 and then updating leaderboards. That is without our other requests - I'm sure I did a 10 point list which had standard items on most poker sites, including the old betfair. But the account issues are my main gripe. It's pretty fundamental and should get sorted in no more than 24 hours (and probably less) whatever day of the week.

RTR is the best and ILPP is just awful and makes no money. Your pathetic attempt at making a good affiliate site is a huge failure and it has made you bitter and twisted.

Dont feel sorry for me, my life is great and I love it, out of the cold boring dull uk, living in a huge house in sunny thailand where it hasnt rained for the 2 months I have been in this city.

Sat in the pool, playing poker, girlfriend, 2 dogs and best of all satalite tv where I can watch every premier league game that I want.

Meanwhile in the UK you lot are struggling to keep warm and pay the bills
