3.1) Entry is very likely to be by ticket although we are looking at options to make it a $5 or $10 buy-in if we can ensure its restricted. The buy in will help create some cash to go towards expenses
3.2) NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED - NO EXCEPTIONS (Not even for 1 second late)
4) 2500 chips and 12 minute blinds - 6 seater tables
5) Winner of the tournament will win both seats for his team
6) If one team member does not show / play the freeroll and the one man band wins the freeroll, he will win both tickets and can choose what he/she wishes to do with it.

Soft playing your own team mate, will probably be counter productive.
PS ... looks like the games been set up as 15 minute levels with 1500 chips and 10 seater! so much for spelling out the tournament requirements!!!! Can't be ar5ed to ask them to change it now (as this will lead to another fook up) - so please note revised structure!

PPC1 - yep - not much to worry us in this line-up - all the good players stayed away.

Cheques1 doesn't have a partner, surely a fair way would be to pair the two of you up. It will at least double your chance of winning.
cannot work like that ovalman ... going to have to keep it as per guidelines because we are bound to have several one man teams.

Vaino is the type of player that will do well in this tournie. He plays sht or bust poker that will get him donked out early or a massive stack. I'd be happy with him on my team.
1500 chips is more than enough - and with 15 minute blind levels, we will be playing very close to 4 hours to win a $1100 team prize.
IMO - if anything, its too slow - 12 or 10 minute levels were more appropriate.

As there's no bubble, the game will progress fast enough imo.
lets just hope the best player in the field (wonky) copes with the smaller starting stack.

CGull pawned me at every opportunity. When I hit JJ I even checked to the river hoping to induce a suck out but he was having none of it. I'd have shoved TT for my final hand but it was slightly above my shoving range so I played it. CGull called my raise and hit trips with 22 
I played so badly I'm embarrassed [smiley:crazy]

Was a good idea and played in good spirit - as the football fans used to chant - nice one Klup lets have another one.
I agree with most of the posts below, was a great format for a tourney with good friendly banter. Keep it up BF you might get that community spirit back.

Paige, sht happens. I cry when I lose but it still happens.
There effort was great to come 2nd and 3rd, and it does look rather harsh on them, but we didnt really have other options.
If we did it points based, then we would have ended up with a very skewed game once teams were mathematically out of the running.
If we had a buy in - then there would have been cash payouts, but at the same time this would have left the tournament exposed to intruders. Even a password would not have been too much of a deterent.

I am on the forum most days, just never feel the need to post, as a lot of my time is taken up on the APAT forum. Not an excuse, just fact.

Sorry Klup wasn't criticising the winner getting both seats - I thought that was right although I would have liked them to go to players who use the forum regularly and it was difficult to foresee a team finishing 2nd and 3rd.
Reality is - its not easy to walk into a community and blend in comfortably.

I did not stay in for long (had a hard night before cleaning the bed of my daughter after she threw up in her sleep and was very tired...), but it was fun to rail my partner. Big thanks to The Klup for arranging such a great game, I really enjoyed it and obviously was delighted to see Leigh win it. I regularly enjoy reading this forum but do find it a bit intimidating to post as am not as experienced when it comes to poker as many on here. I will let everyone know how I get on in London though, thanks to the well wishers.
And as for the beers, after his efforts last night Leigh can keep his wallet in his pocket, drinks are on me!Hope to meet as many of you there as possible.

Well that went well. The 2 who got the seats are hardly forum regs about 3 posts between them , no doubt we will never see them again.

We had over 70 forum members who showed an interest in the seats, and then enjoyed a well organised and structured tournament. Sounds a success to me ?
I'm kinda fed up of people coming on here and thinking it's okay to just have a pop.
As with any forum, you need new members and new content to keep it fresh and interesting. Some will post, some will just post rubbish, but others may well log on, read a bit.
As I've posted before, it will be good to meet those travelling to either Bolton or London. Looking forward to chatting over a beer and proving that I'm not some freeroll whre. My money goes into Betfair, just the same as others.

I think Ch1paccrual you should read through the thread again - very few people having a pop and many more congratulating you. Hope you aint including me in that as all I said was I would have preferred to see PCPlod and Finalinsult win as both were forum regulars who I know.

Right Chip my point was several people joined the forum just for this promo, we will never see them again you know it , i know it. If you are a regular player then i apologise but i have NEVER seen you playing on betfair poker.
