Ovalman,,,,, only apple approved flash apps on a ipad and betfair dont have one, and apple dont have flash on a ipad you have to jailbreak it to install it as a program you also need 3ed party operating system to run it...the only betfair app is the sports betting so for poker you may as well have a PLANK OF WOOD

I'm still trying to get BF poker to work on my android phone. I've seen Stars and FT being used on a mobile before so I reckon it's only a matter of time before I get it working.

i cashed in a d2n earlier tonight. shortly afterwards a taxi pulled up  outside. after checking i had clean pants on, i went to the door assuming it was a young lady from betfair come to touch my tail by way of congratulations.

imagine my disgust at discovering it was merely fat alan next door coming home blaked from the club.

i quit the site in protest.

im with OP on this one. I won an ipad as well and still have not been contacted. if you play any other poker skin, and win even just 1€, at least you have a pop-up straight away confirming what you´ve won.

Betfair iPad giveaway promotion an early April Fools joke (nap)

it must have beena shyte fest if people that cant count to 7 or read some very  basic terms and conditions cashed. 

fk knows how they will work out how to use it when it eventually arrives. probably expecting bf to come round and turn it on for them.

I won an Ipod one time on here and it took around 2 months to arrive. It did get to me eventually.

binspain - you were told before the event when ipad's would be delivered and when you finished in the top 85 you were shown in the players list as a winner what more do you want - only thing I see missing is a lack of thanks from the winners to BF for running the pronotion.

I went out of this competition after running AQs into AKo on an Ace high flop, and when i went out, the first thing i done was to thank Betfair for the promotion here, and on Twitter. Thats from someone who didnt win anything, perhaps those who did can find some manners amongst their apparent greed and ungratefulness, and do likewise.

I actually played really well. Ran KK into AA early on the game and left me with 600 chips but managed to get that up to 5500 before the 1st break. Then out with the AQ v AK on an ace high flop & 1 suited card needed for nut flush. Was a bit gutted after all the hard work coming back from the 600 chips

@Akabula.. as the game continued after the final 85 was sorted, once i got knocked out (in the 60´s) i never saw anything that looked like a list of winners. Perhaps you still followed the all-in bonanza right to the end even though you were knocked out - good for you, but i didn´t as it was 3am in the morning and i´d been playing for nearly 6 hours straight. I was tired.

My advice to betfair that a pop-up box upon knock-out saying a congratulations - not for my own self-esteem but merely as a recognition that you have placed correctly, is not a lack of gratitude but merely trying to be constructive.

There are many poker tournaments and many freerolls out there - yes i´m happy to play them, grateful that they´re free and even more happy to win them but it´s a competitive market and every winner is still a client. This is the kind of feedback that helps betfair get better and to be honest, i´m not sure what business it is of yours...

binspain, please STFU. You won an iPad, that should be enough. Why you are whining about not getting a pat on the back for doing so, is beyond me (and many others, it would seem)

this is a public forum, if you post in here then you are making it the business of everyone who reads it. anyone who continued playing after the bubble burst wants their head examining.

as has been pointed out, bf have a long and very proud record of not being very good with timescales. the 100$ football kit vouchers a few months ago were about 10 days late going out. we all got them eventually. as will those that cashed in this promotion. if you want to know when then ffs contact betfair and ask them.

BF have been making an effort to engage the forum with various promotions in recent months and are to be applauded so why not post a thank you rather than focussing on what is a minor negative.

its an attack on the company running the promotion, less than 8 hours after it finished in the early hours of the morning for not making him feel special.

had he simply asked if anyone else had heard anything none of us would have had a problem with it. he didnt, despite winning something for nothing, he felt the need to have a go at the people organising it, even though it clearly states in the terms and conditions what the process is.

if even those winning cant find a good word to say about betfair after the event, cant you see why they would be unlikely to run a similar promotion in the future ? theres not one of you said ANYTHING positive about betfair. had just one of you started your post with " i was lucky enough to cash in the ipad mtt last night, and thanks to betfair for running the promo, im really grateful to them for that, however i was wondering when we will be contacted "  then you may well have got a more positive response.

I got phone call from prizeshark yesterday to check address details were correct.

No contact for me yet.

Never was contacted by phone or email within the 7days as per the T's & C's.  Had to call BF myself last night to find out what was going on, they said give it another 24hrs.  Phoned BF again tonight, they confirmed my details and said the details 'would be passed on'.  So I'll most likely be posting again next week with a nothing's changed comment.......but let's hope not.

i registered to the forum because i won an ipad as well and wanted to check if there is any information. i actually updated my contactdetails right after the tournament obv in wise foresight. however, it said this one enterprise will contact the winners within 7 days, so i wrote an email to betfair after 8 days. they said i should wait one more week. however, so far i haven't got an information form this one company who sends out the prizes. gonna post when i will receive information and/or the iPad, which i can't wait to receive.

pretty same here...contacted per email 8 after the tourney. they said i should wait. contacted them a couple of days ago in reference to that one pokermanager that was posted by the other manager in this thread and did get NO reply so far. called by phone the german support like half an hour ago and the lady said she would send me at least some kind of confirmation asap. we will see what is going to happen. if we get the iPad2 i would probably forget that i waited that long....:P

I´m struggling to believe that PrizeShark are incapable or too busy to send an email in order to confirm contact details. It would take all of five minutes. I think the stalling is on betfairs side, and if not, they should drop prizeshark as their supplier as they´re clearly very useless...

Seeing as I contacted BF after 9 days and did not get the feeling they would be much help, I contacted Prizeshark direct by email.  Fair play to the guy, he emailed me back the same day, confirmed my address and I've just had it delivered this morning.  16gb Wi-Fi (non 3g) basic version, but still worth £440 in store and £400 on ebay.

No, but if I were you I'd continue contacting Betfair and let them contact Prizeshark on your behalf.

I was contacted and details verified two days ago on a phone line I normally wouldn't be at, told to expect delivery late next week. They are getting round to people. If you are worried, just verify with Betfair that your name has been passed on and they'll get to you eventually.

4. Email or phone Ian Short (UK rep).
