KAMPOYRIS cashed for $250 last night. 

That strikes me as an adequate level of compensation for the lost chips.  Unfortunately it doesn't compensate me for the tilt loss I suffered in another tourney.

You should know by now that if a player called Colluder Cheatman sent them an email confessing to colluding with copies of his hand histories and copies of his msn conversations they would still say there is not enough evidence.

Regardless of whether they are colluding or not, I thought you were only allowed to speak in English in the chatbox? Is this not the case? If it is, why do BF not enforce it?

i've never had a word of thanks or  a cent  in compensation for the colluders i reported on the old bf platform.

3 teams, all blatantly at it, all confronted in the chat box, all reported through the correct channels, all disappear without trace a few days later. not clear if that was as a result of my comments in the chat box, or betfairs action.

its just an occupational hazard when playing on this site. i certainly wouldnt entertain the 5 max stts when you cant even check to see where the players are based.

we all know if  goes on, hell i was even offered a job playing as part of a team based abroad about 18 months ago.

Seems to me that BF really need to respond to this with a decent explanation.

Its a pity considering that their response to the other problem was sorted pretty quickly.

Amazed even on a day when they receive praise for a quick response for unethical behaviour they once again score a serious own goal!!!

I am assuming that this didn't fit in with their collusion checklist that Hellmuthian Folds developed for them.  A whistleblower has just forwarded me a copy and asked me not to put a copy on the board.

1) Does player A have a decent hand?  If yes go to step 2
2) Does player B have a decent hand?  If yes go to step 3
3) There is no collusion, both players have a decent hand. go to step 4) Send standard reply to mug, offer no compensation.
5) Pay Hellmuthian Folds $5

You forgot:

6) Doobs go straight to jail, do not pass GO, and do not collect $250 compensation.

and

7) Colluders are exempt from Step 6.

Interesting read milton, maybe the poker management will actually listen to the valid criticism that is often stated on the forum. Nothing like an unhealthy swing in profitability to concentrate the business brain.

One of the biggest worries of any player is online security and the attitude of the gaming site to the integrity of the games.

It does make you wonder at the rational behind their decisions though

as my original ego I never hurt a flea was banned never warned for asking players to join Dinkie  vs Donkie games on another site  games  that were always played on old betfair, and I would have loved them to have been played here yet they (betfair) said they could not post them, I was consequently banned , I then with the use of todays tech.made an alter ego alias this was reported to the gods who banned that one also........cant win

Doobs. Happy to give my input too. As I mentioned in your Dec MTT thread when you first posted what happened it just sounded dodgy - hand still being played etc. The translation is pretty conclusive to me. And at those stakes players ought to know that collusion is not on - could lead to disqualification etc.

Also you ought to put the response back higher up as Klup says. If they want their product to be better these issues have to be dealt with when they are occurring and any review very quickly afterwards.

I played both of them at the tables the day after this.  They are clearly a pair of idiots, given they did it in the chat, and clearly not the worst colluders in the World.  There are obviously many players hooked up on msn on the average site that we will never see, and they are the ones that I would rather the site caught.

But surely you can ban them for a while as a warning, and clearly this is collusion, so don't treat your other punters like morons by telling them it isn't.

I can even understand why the site would want to keep a couple of players like this playing. 

The problem with doing nothing on an absolute clear case like this is it sends such a bad message and shows all the talk about cracking down they make in the monthly forum chats to be bolox.  It is hard to believe that they use state of the art anti collusion software and know how to interpret the conclusions, if they can't even interpret this chat properly.

This simply doesn't happen on po kerstars.

It does seem a bit strange, especially seeing as though their financial report shows that they are having problems getting/retaining higher stake players. Seems to me they are taking the short term view that any players in is good. Longer term, why would higher stakers want to stay if these sorts of things are allowed to happen unpunished?

Out of interest who is the head of betfair poker nowadays? Is it the same person who managed to lose so many high rakers on betfair poker and decided to switch to Ongame? The answer to this continuing shambles is the manager whoever he is.

who ever is in charge of betfair poker should be sacked.potentially this should be the best site online,but its not.pokerstars makes this site like a conference team.don t take my word for it look at the numbers.nobody plays cos it poor,to many bad beats,bad games etc.numbers don t lie.i will not use this site again for poker only backing and laying.a shambles betfair.

the reason you get more bad beats on here than on stars  is because you get more bad play, meaning there's more chance of a bad beat happening. the standard is abysmal and its incredibly tilt inducing when you go on the inevitable bad run. you cant represent hands because the halfwits have no concept of anything other than their own 2 cards. essentially its a gambling site, and you just have to play tight and wait for the inevitable upturn in fortunes.

that said bf seem absolutely 100% committed to driving away good players. they held question and answer sessions, then utterly and totally ignored all the issues raised. i got an email  off them today, and without wanting to sound racist, it was barely comprehensible.
, and addressed none of the questions i asked.

they are charging 10% rake on d2ns and heads up, which even with cake isn't competitive, the aforementioned customer service is abysmal, they ignore blatant cheating, and unlike previous years, theres no xmas promotions. jeez there isnt even a leaderboard. to be honest its amazing theres anyone left.
