All Tickets to the final will be credited on the 3rd January 2011 and it is each player's responsibility to manually register for the tournament in due time in order to participate.

Thanks, aj.  Although why they cannot credit the ticket when you have qualified is annoying.  As far as I can see I have played ten sngs, but if betfair say otherwise come 3rd january it will be too late to qualify.

Why should you play more? Several reasons;

1.) By your own admission, you are unsure if you have played enough by using the phrase "As far as I can see I have played ten sngs"
2.) Since you are unsure, it would be advisable to play more just to be certain. I suggest utilising an abacus to aid you in this.
3.) If you don't get a ticket, since your complaining abilities are well known, i think i speak for the entire forum when i say that no-one wants to hear it.
4.) Playing more poker means you have less time to ask stupid questions when the answers are clearly stated elsewhere.

The problem, Soap, is that BF have a track record of ignoring their own T&C's.

I don't see why it's so difficult to give the customer a ticket once he/she has qualified for one.

How can you see when you opted in?  It says I already have, but I think I might not qualify from my play since I did.  I have raked about $3k this month, just not sure. 

Should I play 10 sitngoes just to be safe, or am I never safe and they will always mess it up?

lets face it most of wouldnt have a clue what to do with an i pad. i would probably turn the brightness right up and use it as a bedside lamp.

To be fair this is a good promo and even though I hardly touch Betfair poker anymore I logged in to do 10 x $10 STT's this pm - 2 and a half hours of boredom, how you guys play STTs only is beyond me - anyway 3x1sts, 2x2nds and 5x4ths gave me a $25 profit plus I get my ticket on 3 Jan (I thee trust in Betfair lol)

Just shows how cr*p some of these promos are. They should make it you have to play x amount of days per month not just play for a couple of hours only

A couple of hours? Can be done in less than an hour, multi-tabling some double or nothing turbo SNGs which is what i'm doing today just to make sure i get a ticket. I probably would have qualified by the 50 points per day or the 10 MTT methods anyway, but might as cover all the bases just to be sure!

I rarely play mtts, but this looked a good value promotion.  However, I forgot that I have instructed virgin to disconnect my service on the 6th January because I am moving.  I did not realise that they may disconnect it early in the morning when I might be still playing    I also now have to get up early on thurday morning for the move as I have not finished packing yet.  Sod's law, yes?

Headabove, do you share your internet connection? Only one entry per ip address for tournaments usually so that might have blocked you.

Ummm... from the very top line of the Terms & Conditions:

    * You must opt-in using the code IPADGIVEAWAY before 23:59 on December 31st in order to participate in this promotion


Speaking to Blufdaddy is your best bet i'm afraid, you need to opt-in to the majority of Betfair promotions. If you don't know that, then you don't play here very often, and can sing for an iPad giveaway ticket (which you probably will have to).

1500 runners 3000 chips 85 prizes , my guess would be 3 1/2 to 4  hours to win a i-pad

..and the rest.   It's same clock and structure as the 9pm $100 game that starts with 2500 chips.   That normally runs for 4.5hrs to the end with 125 runners

But this will be fairly quick wonky, I'm expecting it to play like a freeroll in the first hour (at least) with a lot of crazy allin preflop action. Expecting to be out fairly early calling one of them with kk or aa.

Thank you, wobbly, but I have internet connection at my new address, thankfully.  I remember you were the one who saved me before when betfair would not let virgin customers on their site!

Although tomorrow is my sale date I have been able to move next door to my kind neighbours flat, who is abroad, while I look for something more permanent.  He is on sky with a wi fi connection, so I thought that my old pc would be a nightmare to connect up and I would not have it in time.  It was a nightmare but luckily for me a neighbour upstairs works for Sky and he was in today on his day off!  It took him about an hour,on his day off, phoning sky up as well.  I am so lucky to have fantastic neighbours, I am really going to miss them.

I will probably play the tourney tonight whilst watching tv.  I have set up my pc so that is easier to play poker and watch tv in my new address.

I only drink of an evening, akabula, that is why I rarely play poker then    So, this evening will be an exception and also the first time I have played a mtt for a long time.  Normally I would only have a glass of pear cider, but as I moved today I feel shattered so I have bought a tiny bottle of wine.  I only hope the taste does not set me buying a proper bottle, like I used to
