London Live dates announced for 12 and 13 Feb. Presumably on the 'safe' assumption that most poker players are single.
I have a feeling that this isn't going to go down too well...Still suppose it beats getting mugged for bad food and bad service in crowded restaurants... and the double points means it is still going to take some winning.
As an aside why is the buy in for this one so small? A few of the others have been £500 or so. £500 to me feels about the minimum you can expect people to travel for.

I played a terrible game in this tonight. I went on tilt after holding A10 on a 10 high flop (with me raising pre-flop). Some eejit shoves all in, i call and the another guy in the pot f9olds. the all-in guy turns over J7 offsuit and he hadn't hit on the flop, but of course a runner runner gives him a straight! Next hand i played was AQ suited so i shipped them all in, but ran into KK and it was 61st place for me.
Really need to address my tiltability (if thats not a word, it is now!) after i get completely donked like i did with the fish's J7 offsuit! And to add insult to injury, the guy who donked me with the J7 then donks all my chips away the very next hand with another foolish all in!

there were 150 runners this week. every man and his dog was in the lobby begging for the password before kick off.
Yeah noticed that myself Chip. Very few names i recognised at the final table as well. Maybe they should drop the 'community' part of the name of the games since most of the players aren't part of one

Why no new tourney for January? What is the point of starting a 'community' series and then suddenly abandoing it? This is typical of everything else that Betfair does - there is no continuity.

I played APAT tourney instead. Great banter and great structure for a $5 rebuy.
5+hours of entertainment and I was knocked out in 8th. no idea what time it finished.

apat games are the best games on here by a mile. you should come and play for us (sunderland) in the league on a sunday night nick. we just got promoted to the top division and a fair few of the regs ( me, klup, katos,jbong, razorscuttle, alexsdad )play for us.

technically stockton are the nearest team to me, but not sure if they still exist. while it goes against the grain playing for the mackems, its only about 15 miles up the coast from my gaff.

just a bigger catchment area, as they pick up the whole of the east of england and anything north of the watford gap

yeah up here we got stockton, sunderland, and newcastle, and there simply arent the numbers for 3 competitive teams.

i lived in south london for 15 years, both my kids were born there. technically i have more affinity with south london than sunderland where i've never lived.
I very nearly had a friend from sarf London once. Then I realised that it was a mistake an' he was just a completely miserable ****** like all Londerners

You blamed me and the software for what was your own mistake. Had you come over the top on the turn I would most likely have folded as I put one of you on a flush. My reraise was more to see where I stood, Gabs was stop betting a lot and I was either well ahead or miles behind him/her. I had plenty of chips to fold so I don't think I made any mistakes with my play.
You gave me a free card on the turn, the alarm bells were already ringing to me of the flush. Had I missed the river I'd have called a low bet but not all my chips. My only mistake in hindsight was not pushing the river or weighting my bet more as I think you'd have called a higher bet or an all in. imo, the only thing you done right was calling my bet on the river instead of pushing.

You were not a happy bunny but your attitude stunk as if it were my or the software's fault. I guess by your comments you went on to win or finish well so good come back and nice graph which I've checked. For a decent winning MTT'er your whinging about me and the software was laughable.
As for me, I went out by pushing JJ after being card dead for ages and got instant repushed by A6o who hit his A. That's poker, I make mistakes but I never blame the software or my "donk" opponents.
