Secondly: both have been dedicated betfair poker players for ages, they may not post 50 irrelevant or sarcastic comments a day, but they get involved in community events

Dinos, a question put to you was what is the criteria to play? One of them was to be a regular Betfair forumite. At least two of those players aren't regular Betfair forumites.

i erronously left out nickflick and he would have been in the team - if a space emerges in the next few weeks, he will come into the team. I will be available on the day as reserve just incase someone doesnt show.

fyi i did used to organise the forum sunday night friendly games etc, regularly post on Gats "2 quid and above" thread and the daily prediction comp thread of the footy forum so god knows why my count is so low.

I've been a Betfair reg since 2005 but have not posted much on this or any of the other forums recently mainly due to the useless, pointless and annoying posts.  This place used to be a forum where you could post hands or ask for opinions on plays, and you would get some decent advice.  It's since been hi-jacked by attention seekers and is a real shame.  I still read this forum pretty much on a daily basis but wouldn't really expect many (if any) serious replies if I did post.

I already asked - 25 teams of 8 are all declared, and the venue capacity is capped at 200 players. So no can do a second team.

1st of all .. Me and kato cannot get on the forum from home !!

When we click on the forum it redirects us to google images !! Has anyone else had this problem and know how to resolve it .. I've cleared my cache, temp files, history the lot, But it keeps redirecting me to google images .. Can anyone help ??

Also whats happening about t shirts for the APAT game as each team has have there own shirts .. Dop you want Kath to look into this ?

I will post this on facebook for you but for the sake of all team members - we have got Betfair to provide our shirts for us :D

I just need shirt sizes and of course will try get shirts made up for our reserves. Kath's tells me you're extra large, but when i saw you a few weeks back, I thought your shirt size surely cannot be bigger than a large.

Who am i to know though, Kath obviously knows better.

agree with pnepaul, this place used to be invaluable for picking the brains of better players, as well as reading conversations between them analysing a particular play.

unfortunately the place got run over by punterz wannabees, posting  what they clearly thought was biting sarcasm.

i didnt mind abuse from the great man himself, it was usually funny, and he does at least walk the walk. but some of the imitators he spawned....

For future reference Klup I'd like to be considered for future events. Played on Betfair and APAT for past 3 years+ and contribute to their forum more often. Only realised this forum was up and running through them but regularly play on here in $22 & $54 tourneys, Got a good record and return for very little investment.

Play against Plod & others in those tourneys so feel free to ask around or talk to Leigh at APAT if you need any more info.

I take it your using internet explorer, i had the same thing happen to me so i changed my browser to fire fox, and bobs you uncle [;)] GL

T-shirts are being supplied by betfair and i will be bringing them along to the game.

Game starts at 2.30pm. Teams are required to be present at 2pm. 

I suggest all arrive at 1.30 pm and meet in the bar.

Helmuthian Folds will have £200 to put towards the buy ins and as he already indicated, will have your tops.

Please note, captaincy has been passed to Helmuthian Folds as I will not arrive till about 6/8pm. Im just coming to get drunk :)

Individual Prizepool = £5,000 (Paying top 20)
Team Prizepool = £5,000 (Paying top 3)

Every player that finishes in the top 50 scores points 1st=50pts, 2nd=40pts.... 49th=2pts, 50th=1pt

Team with most points wins.  In the past few years, the team element has been decided at around the final table situation, which means players are then free of any team thoughts to play on for the individual win.

There's a GUKPT seat as added value for the winning individual.

Live update threads are currently on the APAT forum, along with a little prediction competition (No skill whatsoever).

We've just heard that wifi at the casino is a problem, so not sure how stable the live streaming will be, but as always, it'll be as good as we can make it.

Once you sort out the team changes, can you make sure you post them and message me on APAT so we can update the player list with the venue.

Also, they'll be team photos before we start on the Saturday (Might be the closest you ge to the trophy [;)]), so make sue you get there in plenty of time.  We've got 25 teams to get paid in, photo's etc.
