I won a $50 ticket the other day chip and for some reason they don't work on STTs

what tourneys can u use this 50 dollar in

any 50$ stt or mtt.

with only 193 runners they have 7 x $55 tickets going spare.

perhaps they should give an extra ticket to the 7 best looking entrants ?

or the players that  finish 1-7th.

Im totally pi$$ed off with these rediculous delays before registration opens - why they cant friggin open the games up 23 hrs in advance is beyond me. Missed three of them that i have wanted to enter and now will have left over tickets.

i simply cannot understand the daft logic in having registration start so late when its a specific promo.

i still got 14 tickets

but i think giving the last 7 players tonight an extra 55$ ticket would be a lovely gesture and excellent p.r.  [;)]

ive  had 3 x 33$ tickets and i used all of them to play a 30$ d2n. however just noticed all the 50 dollar stts have a buy in of $54 and the ticket is $55, which is why it wont work.

bit of a downer that. cant imagine their being too many 55$ mtts.

nope, all the 50 dollar mtts inthe lobby at present  are also 54 dollar buy ins.

so what can we use the 50 dollar to play then? and when do these get paid to account

i reckon monday for tickets. promotions team dont seem to work weekends.

voucher i seem to recall them saying  you get an email within 7 days from kitbag.com or whatever they are called with a code or something  that you quote when  ordering.

av they kept to there word with other payments? finished 2nd last night an emailed for cash instead of football weekend

Fullbloom I finished top 5 in Seville package giveaway and was paid out the day after, though I had to email them a 2nd time after bfwingding who finished top 5 with me said he's already been paid out.

to be fair to them they are getting there. betfair poker pr and bf tourney manager will be on here first thing monday sorting anyone who hasnt been paid.

they may be a pair of womanisers, but they are slowly turning the site around and winning people over. they are also gradually recreating the community feel about the place, and getting people  using the forum again.

people are quick to stick the knife in, but slow to give praise where its due.

not sticking knife in chipfire just asking a question thats all. to b fair this as been a excellent chance for people to cash for nothing

there are others on the forum who constantly slate everything bf do in relation to poker. often over very trivial issues.

im not saying everythings perfect, simply that imho things are improving.

this promotion has been a great opportunity for regulars to pick up some cash, and also to play regularly against others just from the bf community.

they been doing promos like this for at least 1 solid year - some really hard hitting promotions. They havent always got it right with the odd flawed promotional set up (such as the 150% rakeback race promo) but they are certainly targeting player value and deserve great recognition and applause for their marketing strategy!

yes its good to see promos aimed at what i would call the grass roots players, those that have day jobs but still put a few hours in every day. not only does it encourage them to play a few more games, it rewards them for their loyalty and keeps them interested.

too many previous promotions were aimed purely at a small number of super users already on vip deals. im not saying this relatively small number of players shouldnt be rewarded for heavy usage, simply that there has to be something to keep the rest of us on the site. rake races have merit, but are of of zero interest to 99% of the customer base, likewise rake based leaderboards.

I finished 4th in the tournament and wrote an email to betfair asking why the Top 7 Finishers did not get two tickets. I really expected that because on Monday I got two tickets... However here is what they said:

Did any other of the Top7 get two? I wonder if they add the remaining seven tickets to another tournament in the 150K Series.

i finished 6th and only got  one. that was all i was expecting to be honest.

$150K Giveaway 9 Tickets: It has been reported by several customers that the $54 tickets awarded for Giveaway 9 do not work on SNG’s. I’ve had a look into this and it turns out that there are two sets of generic $54 tickets, one for MTT and one for STT, but not one combined. I’ve arranged with customer services that all $54 ticket holders that were won via this promotion can exchange their ticket  if they would like to use it on Sit and Go tournaments.  To exchange your ticket please email/telephone customer services.     

$150K Giveaway 9 Overlay: We are aware there was an overlay of 7 tickets on this tournament which in cash term equates to $378. We will round this up to $400, and add it to the final Giveaway tournament on October 15th. This means that the $150K Giveaway 15 Tournament will be awarding $400 extra in cash  i.e. it will now payout $100 cash to first 54 places.               

$100 Football Shirt Vouchers: We are still waiting for our supplier (Kitbag.com) to send us the voucher codes. Once we have these, we will email all winning customers with their unique voucher code and details of how to redeem it. We anticipate making contact with all winners by the end of this week or early next week. The promo team have asked if all customers could please ensure that their email contact address on file is up to date.

Daekuhuh. I only got 1 as well (1st) Hope i finish 54th on friday now! What I do know is that in the last 2 I've been going nicely, and run QQ into AQ and lost both times to a rivered gutshot straight.
In fact last night i went out of my 3 MTTs in the space of 3 minutes, with KK by QQ (river Q) QQ by AQ (river K to make straight) and would you believe, AQ by QQ (ace on flop, river Q) I am now avoiding all hands involving kings or queens.
