I think I was right to be apprehensive about how easy it would be to get my prize. Nearly a day gone by and no sign of anything. Did anyone else receive anything yet?

Congratulations Betfair Poker for having such a great idea. A Forum game to get people playing - PR wise - fantastic.

Getting people to come together and maybe just maybe ignore all the rubbish you have served up for the last couple of months. Worked on me.

Yet again a promise is made and then you just ignore everything that is said.

I'm sure you'll be along at some point with another excuse for your ineptitude.

The best thing is, I expect I'll get castigated for being ungrateful.

Notice in your New Player Freeroll earlier there were 100s of Players. I wonder how many are back under a different Username to get a sign up bonus.

Still received nothing. Yup, as far as betfair is concerned I have run out of patience. I emailed betfair to ask them to look into why the prizes were not paid. As usual I expect it will take about 5 attempts to get any response but eventually they will grudgingly pay out to those who have bothered to kick up a fuss about it.

Really terrible way to run a betting business - take people's money then try to wriggle out of paying up every time.

When they said Thursday morning did they specify in what week. Something to look forward to at Christmas.

I've just noticed the tickets didn't get credited for this tournament. It was supposed to be an automated process so I'll need to look into what has happened there... p*ss up & brewery eh  [;)]

I have now credited all tickets manually, please accept my apologies for the delay.

Winners were:

How did the tournament play out? Was the structure OK? Does everyone agree it should be weekly? All feedback greatly appreciated.

Your ability to infuriate and generally p1ss off your customers really does know no bounds.

You do good stuff like putting togther this Tourney and then in the next breath fook it up by not sticking to what you promise.

If you can't deliver, don't say you are going to do it in the first place. That way no one has any unrealistic expectations.

BTW We all know what really happened you threw in a sickie yesterday and no one else could be arsed to do the job

My ticket was credited now, so thanks for that. In fact it was credited twice but I have no idea as to whether you gave me 2 by way of an apology or if this was an administrative blunder and one will be taken away shortly.

As to the tourney itself I did enjoy it. Having the additional prizes put in at the positions they were did create a real dilemma though - if you were short-stacked you could go all in to try to time it right to make the key slot, but if by bad luck you missed the slot by a couple of seconds you ended with nothing.  But given that these were prizes in addition to the normal prize pool then its obviously completely at betfair's discretion how you structure it.

I will definitely play again next week if it is on. You can expect some quite fruity emails though if the prizes are not paid out as advertised!

Blind level a little bit on the short side...means more skill full players like myself are less likely to win.

This tourney should last 3-4 hrs with 100 or so players. How long was it? Any less than 3 hrs and blind structure too sharp - any long that 4hrs and it's too slow for a $5 game imho

Run time for 101 players was 3h 25m 46s....

Any chance of it starting earlier, say 7 o'clock - as long as most of those who took part agree?  I know it has been said on the forum before about tournies starting at 8 when people have to work the next day.  I would not normally enter a tourney because they go on for so long and finish late, but I might if it started earlier.

Said in jest KLUP...fear not. Far too much ego in this poker game. (that said i am immense)

8pm suits me perfect. Got three kids at home and 7 is worst time as it's right around dinner time. I work in London and commute for 2 hrs each way so a 7pm start is a hinderance

But as annie will no doubt reply- I've met the Betfair reps and have ties with Betfair ... Blah blah blah ;)

Fwiw- I haven't met this team Annie ;) xxx so we are on level playing field

Fair enough, klup    I did say if the rest agreed, their views are more important than mine. 

Four hours travelling a day, three kids and a wife, an affiliate, a job, playing poker,  and you also organise us as well - how do you do it?

Structure was just right. Was a good idea to give out the tickets at these stages but whatever you do if its for nowt its good. You might be doing both Annie and The Klup a favour by starting it at 7. Would suit Annie and I heard that The Klup needs to go on a diet (too many sausage rolls at Betfair get-togethers) so he would miss dinner but shed the pounds. Every one a winner.

Loads of good feedback here, many thanks. Also Some fair points about the ticket credits, having to wait 24 hours was unacceptable. I'm new to this lark so hopefully you can forgive me one indiscretion..... with my assurances that it won't happen again.

If you say they'll be credited within 7 days, and then they get them within 48 hours, maybe, just maybe they might thank you for it. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

Just used up my $54 token in the 8K gtd which had 202 entries and 10K prize pool. Managed to limp into the money making 25th so won $92. Cheers Betfair!
