what on earth happened to the mtt leaderboard?
i spent $1000 last week to try and improve my position
i won an number of qualifiers and cashed in a few others
i worked my way up the rankings
I watched my progress carefully and this morning i was in 14th position with 92k points
the leader, legatoBF was on 240k
now i look at the updated leaderboard and find i am in 41st position with 4k points
The leader has disappeared alltogether!
Aftrer several calls to your helpless helpdesk i get told that this was the "correct" revised leaderboard
I am now asking you this
Is your company determined to upset the regular players?
I have found it very hard to adjust to the new set up
The list of things that displease me with it is rather long
i was trying to keep myself motivated by chasing the leaderboard
now this...
Please do not make me more aggravated than I already am
i would like you to please find out how my score was calculated
As i spent $1000 I think I have every right to know
I would also like you to forward this email to your manager as i have every intention to get to the bottom of this

not sure but im pretty sure i had less than 100k points, i think i was in top 30 or so
I've been playing 12-16 hours a day this month chasing this promo and was in 4th place and closing in on 3rd. Now over half my points have disapeared. I've been keeping a track of my points and those of my closest rivala and they were generally correct until this latest update.
I've been spending $300+ per day in tourney fees and if this is not corrected I'm going to turn green and bust out of my shirt!

Come on Betfair PR - give us an update on this....it can't be very often the 'revised' leader also disputes the accuracy of an updated leaderboard! 
poker data integration is causing them problems. Ive only had points updates once in 20 days so gl to leaderboard challengers :D
it has come to he point wear the commuication between the customer service and promotion team is ineffective and COSTING betfair thousands in lost revenues and life customers.
Such is the problem..there needs to be somebody instantly liasing with customers from the promotion team via..or not via customer service team to deal with these queries more effectively and keep customer satisfaction levels high.
It is not acceptable to be taking 2-3 days to fix isuues which would take one minute to sort out. Moreover...the information of the middle man..is often wrong or inaccurate and so there is a big problem.
Basicially all comes down to the management culture that has allowed to happen in the sports business..of we are so big have no competition and it looks like they have come hugely inefficiant business in some respects and could suffer from diseconomies of scale.
Unfortunately what they can get away with sport they cant with poker as customer service on other sites is so hot

If sharkscope can get all the results quickly and accuratly, why the heck cant betfair?
you would have thought that after several calls and an email at least they would tell us that they are looking into it.So far all I had was the confirmation that this latest edition is the correct leaderboard.

Mistakes happen...I wonder how betfair (as in the exchange) can let the poker part of the business ruin their reputation.I can only assume that there is nobody in charge or that the person in charge is... lets say ..not in touch.
My attempts for an opportunity to talk to someone in charge have failed so far. Probably hiding somewhere and leaving some helpless "customer service representatives " take all the flak.
I have no issues with them. Its the Big Boys I want to ask a few questions about how they are running the show

GHADDAFFI, that's just today's vs yesterday's board, clear the cache in your Firefox.
Either the leaderboard switched to a new formula on Friday, or they lost a lot of tournaments from their tracking. There's no way the new numbers are correct using the formula in the rules.
I've been keeping track of my MTTs using a spreadsheet, and I currently have about 50k points, using the stated formula. I've never appeared on the board so far, let's see if Betfair fixes that problem in the remaining 7 days. :P

ive hardly paid any attention to the leaderboards, but im nearly totally convinced they are wrong. poker data from the integration appears to be missing - possibly coming through sporadically.
Just seen the updated MTT leaderboards, still obviously wrong, but at least you've moved up a bit ghadaffi. I had 73000 points and was 6th before I went on my hols and now am 11th with 9488 points. I'm not sure I understand how the system works and also not sure anybody from betfair does either. I think a lot of results must have gone missing, I hope they sort it out before they pay out.
I cant agree with wingding2 that sharkscope track their results accurately, because mine on sharkscope are totally inaccurate.

ok in the space of a day ive gone from 24k to 1.3k and im 330th position. now although im not claiming i should be number 1 theres no way this is right either.
ive used the formula 100*sqrt (buy_in*players/position) my current points seems closer to my points for August 19th alone and definitely not the whole of august. since the new betfair 2 ive played about 70 MTTs, ave stake $50, ave ROI 129% and $3450 profit. does this sound like stats for 1.3k points and 330th place?
whatever the formula, whatever method is used for leaderboards, PICK ONE AND STICK TO IT! its totally unfair to get peoples hopes up with constant mistakes!

I dont think its a formulae problem, its a data capture problem. The stt boards are substantially wrong as well and its a pretty simple formulae for that.
i think your right wingdings, in fact id have a guess that the last few updated leaderboards have been daily leaderboards and have not included the entire month.
Good spot Reeshah, I've just checked with my points and thats exactly what it is, the daily scores.

You and your colleagues assured me that your promotional team have confirmed that this has all since been rectified since Friday
I play about 12 hours today
So, according to your promotions team I have accumulated 4200 points in the first 20 days of the month ( Including friday)
and 6700 (!) points in the 1 day that followed.
I suggest you ask your promotions team to get their act together so that you are not the one left
to take the abuse of frustrated customers.

I have spent over €1200 in chasing this leadreboard
I would like to have confidence that the rankings are calculated in a consistent way and I ask them to compensate me

How can you run a pokersite and have your people work 9 to 5 and have weekends off?

it was there last week, but i only looked last week so cant confirm previous to last monday

Deckie, I'm not on the leaderboard either, and should have around 60,000 points by now. If you haven't done so already, please email support.
