Yep I'm playing elsewhere tonite and withdrawing tomorrow if things aren't sorted and I can review the site for myself.. I'll no doubt leave anyway as it seems the reviews so far are pretty dire.

I am able to play 3 tables at once (not tried 4 yet).

My main problem is that I see no advantage anymore playing with betfair as opposed to somewhere else. I know the new skin takes getting used to, but there are a number of features that are definitely inferior to other providers eg:

OK you can see your folded cards now but it involves flaffing about with the sliders on the right.

The hand history option is very primitive compared to other sites. Also, where are the files saved? If you fold preflop it doesnt appear to give your hole cards.

Other sites make it much easier to see where your standing in the tourney is. I know this is there on the right but you waste so much time shuffling those tabs and sliders about.

I dont see any option yet to disable chat on an individual basis.

I am not saying these are major issues, but I am looking for a reason to carry on playing with bf as opposed to somewhere else.

I've just opened approx 9 tables to see if it worked and it was fine, But if you open just 4 games the screen is full

If you go to press fold a bit late, Beware because it changes to min raise if someone comes into the pot

They had this mistake in the past, Which changed a while after I sent e.mail

Hi 5leepwalker and Mr Ted (Alias JAMMYB). I had no problem with Betfair1 apart from it was too quiet. My biggest problem with this site is the end to the social side of playing. Playing the 2.75 tables as you know meant you came up against the same players and had a good old chat or some fun banter(like Donk Ted). Sadly this is no more. No more chatting when you get knocked out and no posting as an observer. Very sad. I only ever played Full Tilt and Partypoker in the bast but always stuck with Betfair. I am not saying I will leave but I wont spend the same time on it as before playing and chattering away. I appreciate those that wish to concentrate on playing may not be interested in the chat facilities anyway but there are plenty of sites catering for the keen players. Oh yeah no find a player. What an earth is that all about? GL all.

Yep a sad day indeed... I still can't get in and by all accounts I don't want to. I'm currently looking elsewhere apart from starzz, which is EXCELLENT in software and support.. I just can't win consistantly on there due to the US donks.

Poptobe, agree with you, I'd been playing on bfair for over 4 years and you do get used to the banter of playing against the same players week after week. The only plus I can see is wont have to wait around so long for a stt to fill (hopefully). I'm getting old and dont like change, prefer what I am used to, wish they had left it alone.

Agree with 5LEEP. This doesn't seem like Betfair under a new guise - too much has been lost.
Enjoyed visiting my 'table friends' on their tables and vice versa.
Was good when on the ft of an mtt to get a bit of encouragement from observer chat.
Maybe time will change how we feel but for me it's aa v kk that i'll go elsewhere.

It always used to be 10. It was the 9-seater tables which were the abnormality.

I'm very pleased it's back to 10.

After an initial loss and down around £30, I've found the 5 seater turbo's very profitable. Never thought I'd see the day i'd enjoy turbo's but the same donks that sucked me out in 10 seaters play the same game in 5 seaters and it's easy pickings. From a ROI of -79% after 5 games, I am now on +15% after 59.

Certainly doesn't suit a skilled player like 5LEEPY (who is now my bestest friend ). BTW 5LEEPY is a volume player who makes his money winning the volume leaderboard and creaming off the rakeback, there is certainly a skill in that. I wouldn't knock it unless I've tried it.

I like the software, apart from the complete loss of a community and all my friends I've gathered over years of playing on this site. Part of the fun logging back in every night was to search my friends list and see who's made final tables; I'd then open that table and wish them good luck. The site is now 'souless', but there are more donks atleast.
