In addition, refreshing the upgrade page repeatedly will not help you as much as retrying every couple of minutes. Laugh

I now progressed a step further, i can accept terms and coditions then i click next and it brings up pop ups about security and scripts and then tells me there is infact an error on the page. It's an absolute sh*t storm.

this has to be the most ridiculous statement ever

We are so pleased so many of you want to try our new product. Usually we see the load increase much later in the day. We had a gradual scale up plan for launch in line with our normal load during a normal poker playing day. With so many of you keen to see our new product we are experiencing a much higher load than anticipated this early in the day. We are looking to increase our load capacity therefore as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience.

Thank you.

Betfair deemed that on an "opening day" for new software, simialr to a shops relaunch...they, in their wisdom thought the usage of players would be the SAME as an other day and they catered for JUST this.....you simply couldnt make it up
Report emmark July 27, 2010 2:39 PM BST
u dont need to make it up, we all knew it would happen, why is anyone surprised??

This is a shambles in all honesty. I mean these guys are supposed to be professionals and have had a long time to plan and implement this upgrade and they have managed to mess it up somehow with a network error which is so bad. Management need too get rid of the clowns they are employing and get some real poker staff in. By the way betfair i hope u are gonna give a huge freeroll too all regulars for this **** up!
Report crediter July 27, 2010 3:15 PM BST
give em a chance...they only made 360 million last year.
Report daz5555 July 27, 2010 3:19 PM BST
I'll give them about another 42 minutes and if it aint sorted im ringing management!! Looks like they didnt pump that 360 million in too staff training ey.

Report daz5555 July 27, 2010 3:50 PM BST
Its pretty much the same to be honest not impressed at all and cant make it full screen on my monitor which has a resolution of 1366*768 so that is a big fail! sigh sigh... Oh and top it off my betfair settings are somehow set now to allow no more than £15 to be deposited in a month which i never done so now i cant put money on i was going to and says it takes 7 days to change. looks like im going elsewhere.

Give up on this joke of a company and sign up with another site!  That's what I'm doing after half-an-hour of (unsuccessfully) trying to get past that T&Cs page.
