Thursday night – pool comp and general piss up from 7pm onwards
Friday day - can I have some input on this please? In the past we have played golf, gone go karting, and ten pin bowling. What do people want to do and how many are coming down for it, I can organise any of the past events and maybe even paintballing but I need some definite numbers
Friday Night – 8pm Team event, each team to consist of 6 players. The Buy in will be £35 per person and Betfair are adding £500 to the kitty
Format will be the usual one we run of separate STT`s with points for finishing positions to give us a winning team

Saturday – 4pm Main Event, Buy in for this is £100 and once again Betfair will be Generously adding to the prize fund to the tune of £1000, this however will only be paid out to people who have bought in via the holding tank on Betfair, anyone wanting to play but don’t have a Betfair account should open one or they won`t be eligible to get any of this added money
Food will be provided and Betfair will also be putting a few drinks behind the bar
During the weekend we also have our own schedule of a £5 re-buy on Friday night at 8pm, a £15 turbo bounty on Saturday at 5.00pm and a £20+£20 semi freezeout on sat night at 8PM and On Sunday we have a satellite for a Bahamas EPT package for £25 which starts at 2pm
Also cash tables will be open all weekend
There is a hotel link on our main site for people stopping over
Think that`s just about covered everything , all we need is some more names down hopefully we can get somewhere near the turn out we have had for previous events – with free beer and food plus added prize funds we shouldn`t be too far away

Has the holding tank issue been resolved yet , i havent had the chance to download new software at home yet as i am having techno problems

Right we are a week away so time for a quick update

I spoke to Dinos today and it looks as if the holding tank is a non starter so it will be cash on the day but at least this means a cash payout on the day, there are places available for the main event and don’t forget Betfair will be adding £1000 to the prize pool, however to get any of this extra then players must have an active Betfair account.
Main game starts at 4pm on Saturday and will be a 10k starting stack with 30 min blinds  - buy in is £100
The team game is on Friday night at 8pm and will consist of STT`s with points awarded for finishing positions to determine the overall winner , Again Betfair will be adding £500 to the prize pool and you must have an active account to play in this game
At the moment it looks like there are 30 plus forumites due to play, plus 10 or so duffs regulars and maybe 10 of the Bournemouth crew – we do have room for more so all these new faces recently on the forum to moan/praise the new platform have the opportunity to come along and meet up in real life. Obviously Betfair reps will be there as well to answer questions and explain any questions
Food for both days will be provided , all tables will be dealer dealt and as well as the 2 games mentioned we will have our usual schedule including an EPT satellite to the Bahamas , cash games will also be available all weekend
Oh and did I mention that Betfair will be sticking a grand over the bar

You don't know how true that is...ace3 (who used to drive us) daughter was disabled so he had mini bus adapted for her...One time on way back from Croydon, we stopped at services. Ace3 pulled into a disabled bay...opened side doors and people next to us stared opened mouth at 5 of us sat round a card table piled high with chips in the back....even more so when Jody got out of the wheelchair in the middle and walked into the services
