Chaps - here is an outline
Location: Duffs Full House (Portsmouth) (location details: http://duffscardroom.co.uk/contact-us-1/)
Of course we will have a few quid added to the bar tab and food will be provided.
Friday 13 August: Team event (£500 to be added to prize pool) , $55/£35 buy-in (holding tank in the Betfair Poker lobby under: *BFWCOP - Team Event #407141
Saturday 14 August: Individual event(£1,000 to be added to prize pool) , $150/£100 buy-in (holding tank in the Betfair Poker lobby under: *BFWCOP - Team Event #407140
Team event will be played in STT format and ideally we need to establish just how many people / players we expect.
Shall we say teams of either four or five? we need to assess who will be there on the Friday as number of players will determine the size of teams (we need about 8 - 10 teams or in terms of numbers 36 to 50 people.
Can we have captains put forward their team names by posting here asap?
Let me start it off:
Team 1: Dinkies & Donkies - Deny1 (capt.) posts here as quack, The Klup, Finalinsult posts here as ga yer Helmuthian Folds, fourth/fifth members to be confirmed in due course.

i will be there the friday and there will ba a FLASHMOB TEAM DETAILS TO FOLOW - previous years have been teams of 8 so possible flashmob will be after 2 teams,will be confirmed on here in coming days/weeks.

i think we need to establish how many teams are interested before we define numbers per team in the past it has been 8 teams of 8 on 8 tables and the format worked well although i think that may be a struggle this year with 64 players but 4/5 is probably a bit on the low side - however many we get we can work a schedule and format to suite from my side i would like to know who will be coming down for the friday day time and what exactly would you like to do on the friday suggetions - golf,go karts,paintball,(racing a bit far away in newbury that day)
all imput appreciated

if not 8 teams of 8 then surely 7x7 is achievable? stt format is fine
there has always been a pro traders team, blatch was the captain last time i will get in touch with him to see what his plans are, he's a bit of a high roller these days so capt to be confirmed but i am sure we can get a pro traders team together
a game of golf would be decent, dont know if I can get there for Fri day though.

deffo up for summin friday daytime - fav for me would be karting 2nd choice paintball.
like a game of golf but its an early start and long day and after THE PI$$ UP/POOL/GAMES COMP ON THURSDAY 12TH AUGUST  i'm always worse for wear.details of the thursday will go up in a week or so once main stuffs established itself. |

Only 10% chance I am going to be able to make this, off to vegas monday week and will need a bucketload of pink slips for another weekend away for me when I haven't booked a family holiday yet. Not completely counted out just yet, but hopefully the flashmob will take the team title this year :)

anybody sort a facebook invitation out for all old players and names from the forum past ? |

We are possibles from Newmarket cant commmit until various people return form vegas etc.
By then you should no team numbers as well and will see then if I can raise a team. Last years journey was horrendous which is putting me of already though. |

Hi all
Can someone ask BF to delete the middle of this thread so its bfwcop stuff only? I hope to attend, but been busto-ish for a while so its going to depend on that. I'm happy to get a team together again if needs be. Annabel (pq) is coming, weed is a maybe, both are maybes for team game. Can i suggest one thing tho, that didn't happen enough last time... we need to invite as many new players as possible to this Klup, could u start a thread aimed at new players/posters on here to come to this? Remember, part of the fun of all this is to get some good numbers, and for us all to meet new ppl etc rather than just a meetup of old faces. I bet many ppl who read/post here have seen this thread but are hesitant to get involved. |

I am very confident of numbers being fairly decent.
There are people interested - groups I know, that want to come but have not put their names down on here. It will happen - the idea is to ensure people know that they are in for a good time! |
