took a look yesterday and came up with the following bets i thought held some value.
Group E to have the most goals 8.8
NAP...lay group H 5.2 (1.24 equivalent)
Lay Eng to win group 1.39 ( 2.56 equivalent)
I would like Portugal outright with a view to trade if Brazil slip up.
My largest bet would be the Krouts to win their group at 1.96
i know there was a WC thread before but i couldn't find it to add.
my fav value team of the comp will be USA i think and i would be backing them singles throughout probably. ( as i have against Auz now (2:30pm KO this arvo) at 2.48

OK guys ... lets use this thread to ask if anyone wants to do a POOL $30 each = $960 pay: Winners: $400 runners up: $200 third: $100 team who has golden boot: $100 team who has golden gloves:$100 team that concedes the MOST goals: $60 we need 32 up for it ... i will find a way to do a transparent draw ... you can buy more than one but lets cap it at 3. One for me and one for my wife... who else is keen? |

ok im in for 2 teams, but i thought the one that conceded the most goals normally goes out in the group stages, however maybe more than one winner of golden gloves willing to bet teams who get knocked out in group stages all concede at least one goal

fifa have an award for best goalkeeper ... thats what im stating - using 2006 as an example: Winner: Italy Runners-Up: France Third: Germany Adidas Golden Shoe: Miroslav KLOSE (GER) Yashin Award for the Best Goalkeeper: Gianluigi BUFFON (ITA) the most goals conceded one was just a wild card for humour. |

I lost my cards on Thursday so i can't fund my betting accy until the replacement gets here :( but probs done me a favour lol i have managed to place my main German bet and a couple of losing interest bets for the other games through pals. im running well since england and argentina disasters:-
germany any unquoted won dutch 2-0 won japan 1-0 won now just need italy to win 3-0 and italy/italy and will have recovered from sat and be nearly 1k up. Plus got japan in the draw, come on the nips[:D] |
