THIS IS A CAR CRASH
Report Yair Marx May 26, 2010 5:07 PM BST
The problem is you put in a total of $3.5 at the point you were a 99% favourite. You then managed to put almost 10 times as much in once your hand was busted.

Well played.

Thinly disguised "I played this horrendously"
Report Lionrock May 26, 2010 8:48 PM BST
LOL as if u posted this.
shockingly played...thanks for sharing tho! :)
Report Splasher May 26, 2010 10:10 PM BST
He was about 4.5% post turn going to river.  Can see what you were up to, but when the ace came on river you had to be prepared for him having it.  You were lucky he didn't have a bigger stack.
Report Splasher May 26, 2010 10:12 PM BST
**Lucky he didn't shove it all in **
Report Poltis May 26, 2010 10:13 PM BST
He min raised the river his stack starting the hand was $183 according to HH above
Report Poltis May 26, 2010 10:14 PM BST
Oops too late :-(
Report Poltis May 26, 2010 10:15 PM BST
Although I would say unlucky he didn't shove the river. Easy fold and would have saved $15.37

i accept it was a terrible, tilted play. had run pretty bad up til then so looked to slowplay, which wasn't really the mistake.

only mistake here was betting the river, although at that stage i thought that something like 66/44/22 also a possibility the way the hand was played so mistakenly looked to bet some thin value.

point of thread was just to highlight the statistical freak...but thanks to those who also pointed out my shittiness Happy

Similar thing happened to me last night. It was in a live game and I punched my opponent in the face when he flipped his hand over.

another fantasy from avoprat
Report psychocashbeast May 27, 2010 3:05 AM BST
lol at value betting for 66/44/22 hands.both 44 and 22 would be conterfeited pairs on the river and almost absolute nut lows, interesting thinking.
Report Avocado May 27, 2010 5:29 AM BST
Don't judge a book by it's cover buddy. I might seem like a fool but actually there's not much about poker that I don't know. I've won the WSOP Main Event before.

This turn and river same card comes so often on BF, it must be ****. Saw Rivvarat outplayed only for TT to give him hand and last night and str8 on turn with a 5 only for another 5 to land on river and give other guy FH.

No wonder it is hard for anyone to fold on BF when you see so many small % hits. In fact when you ahve 20 outs they never fkin hit!

and it often involves 5's.

here's another I suffered.....

BB Player 1: KT
SB ME : Q5
Button: KT

Button calls, I call, BB call.

FLOP: K5Q

Everyone all in!

TURN: Q

I am 99.3% Favourite to win, only 1 out card!

RIVER: K

It was for a very big pot on a FT. Had to lie down for a while to recover!

Trusty, I am 99.3% Favourite to win, only 1 out card!

your maths is incorrect.

42 unknown cards, 1 out = 2.38/97.62 %

Report Avocado May 28, 2010 12:45 AM BST
Here's a tip. These are the hands you should look to play,

Pairs
Suited Connectors, no gap and one gap only
Jack Ten or higher

Sometimes Ten nine is ok too

Does it matter that im neither a greek nor a cypriot and are red cards luckier than black? Please respond as i want to improve.
Report Avocado May 28, 2010 1:58 AM BST
Spades and Hearts are ranked above diamonds and clubs but each suit has a different meaning.
Report akabula May 28, 2010 2:29 AM BST
It's all beginning to make sense now Avocado. Sorry I ever doubted your greatness.
Report Avocado May 28, 2010 2:33 AM BST
