I have heard nothing either....which I think is a pretty poor show....am undecided as to wether or not to go, I have never played a live tourny and think this will be good to break me in gently....does anyone know how many confirmed runners?

Redshoes- you got interested in wanting to go, so will be big disappointment if you don't show.

Obviously this is very poor not having all the details yet but have faith that the event itself will be a good one

some blue shoes would probably go down better though. As blue is the colour of champions and chelsea will win the fa cup :)

Couldn't make the satellite on the Sunday due to work commitments, so didn't qualify but Bf called me and offered me a seat anyway. Unfortunately i cannot make it due to work commitments!! Working weekends only is turning out to be a major pain as regards to being able to make poker tournies live and online...may have to give up job...lol. Prize pool from $5250 for 1st to $450 for 9th (credited to BF a/c next week)

well it was a great day at nottingham alea casino and me and my partner enjoyed it very much thank you betfair

agreed was an enjoyable day thanks to betfair and alea casino for the hospitality.  whoever was on table 5 talking about a forum game get in touch please..

i had a funny feeling that might have been you klup! nice guy, i was the guy who couldnt pick up anything but deuces! where did u end up finishing?

One of the BF players won it, think his name was Chris, can't really remember due to the excellent hospitality provided by BF.

betfair employee Andrew won it - best player there imo. He was on my starting table, played exceptionally well, and caught up with him with 2 tables left and he used his stack brilliantly.

I finished 18th - called with AK on the BB after UTG went all in with 66. reduced me to 400 chips with blinds on 1600/800 and 200 antes

Looking back it was a very foldable AK given that I had 16000 chips and more importantly the top 11 get a prize and with 3 bounties/betfair employess still in and not able to cash it was basically 15th and 4 of the prizes.

Klup played very well though - i ought to play much more live than i do, when soberish i play a much much better game.

Entire event was well organised and credit to Rachel, Matt, Joe and all the Betfair staff for a well organised, structured and enjoyable day out.

Lining it up with the football, organising the Half time and Full time competitions added to the day.

I had a couple guests with me and they too thoroughly enjoyed their day.

I was particularly impressed with Betfair's ability to ensure that Chelsea made it through to the FA Cup final just to complete the perfect day for me on my 6th wedding anniversary. Intrestingly Darren (plankton) and Jane who also came to the BF Masters, were celebrating their sixth anniversary on the day as well - so congrats to them and it was good to bump into you again!

Yeah andrew did play very well, was lucky to flop trip deuces against pocket aces to double up early and from there he didnt let up. WD

Totally agree with everyone, great day out, even better because I cashed, wohoo! Only £150 but it paid for the hotel and petrol money from Newcastle. Nice to meet your wife Klup, what the hell she is doing with you I dont know! Hopefully see you in Ukraine youngster.

Sadly not a single pair of redshoes I'm afraid. I got message on FB that she could not make it - so was gutted for her.

I was gutted not to have made it on Saturday....Im glad you all had a great time ....i will deffo make the next BF game whatever that is...Klup are you organising a forum game ?
