Hey Mandy,
I'm really sorry to have to do this but I cant play in bfwcop. I had planned on registering tonight - as you know i had money problems and this was a lot of money to me. I had 200 that I could spare but worked out I needed at least 300.
I have been playing on the golf all week and went to work in a position where anyone but mickelson wins and I have my extra 100.
Just got in and am gutted to find he has now all but won.
I'm very sorry about not being able to come and I am now open to deserved abuse from you/any of the other nicer guys (dj, doob, SM etc) as I feel I have let the 'team' spirit of the forum down.

Ladies and gents, I'm not attending this year (future brother in laws stag do) but I am genuinely touched by the generosity offered to Chilind by the people that are going, and to be honest I'm kinda sad that I'm missing out on meeting everyone. What a genuinely decent bunch of lads the poker forum is. Nice one :D

yeah you were stacked but I think the biggest mistake you made was accepting a deal. Took away your edge imo.
Highstack it starts at 1 is it anyway near an airport or train station?

Not sure of airport I guess Gatwick is nearest (prob 20 miles ish). I am driving so haven't looked into trains, but I think that ML said it was close ... just don't know which one!
be aware it will take you about 7 hours to get from Leeds London and you will probably crash into a services on the way down.

Gatwick 18.5 miles. Traffic shouldn't be TOO horrendous as you are going into London as opposed to out.
I agree if just cash, but as no one wanted next out, I think that gives you loads of bullying opportunity. A deal takes the pressure off them and the pressure was your edge. Still as you say nice cash but package worth another few k on top.
The reason for me losing the package was i lost KK v A3 and JJ v AK.

Sometimes its just not meant to be mate. I played my A game all day last year, finished 9th for 300 and lost it in about 5 minutes.

ah, you missed my fllopped FH with AQ vs doobs 88 to take him down to 1 chip then
the doobs hand is my favourite ever hand, this is the sick hand vs highstack:
