Am setting up a blog at the moment, and just want some general bits of advice. Don't particularly want it to be tied down by poker HH's 24/7....in fact, mine's probably going to be a more general look at my life + some form of brm/staking plan for my poker/sports betting on the side. Builders got a lot of abuse in here for not much to be honest.

He agreed to play mandylou, however he wasn't happy with the structure - as the sum of MTTS was way more than the sum of the HU games.
Mandy is probably fav in mtts and builder in Stts therefore this isn't fair.
The $2k worth of Mtts mandy suggested playing are probably outside of builders bankroll and wouldn't allow him to fully play his own game.
(You'd need at least 10k to pay $2k entries into mtts surely?)

He has tried to compromise and made some offers but has just been slated.

Whole thing is pointless. Anyways builder has a big roll now, he is 6+ tabling .5/1$ and making loads now according to him. Nothing can be proved, either way whoever wins not as if they are one of the best players.

the total of those multis is arounf the $1k mark - i dont see that as too much bearing in mind that you have a cross section of multis from late night turbo EWS to a long structered mtt with a decent stack
dont forget as well this challenged was issued and he accepted , surely anyone shuould be able to read the rules first before accepting a bet

chill , you are quite new mate but a word of advice a lot of people on here have seen both of us play and seen results off both of us , now you are fully entitled to your opinion and its your cash but i would be very wary of placing my hard earned on someone who gets bored playing a multi with someone elses cash and whos biggest result is winning a $9 rebuy with 60 runners
i am sure if you want to back the builder then there will be more than enough willing to take the evens against him

Mandy, I have just read this thread and can't believe you are getting involved here. You are in a total lose - lose.

As one of the most respected guys on the forum, this can only damage your reputation. Even if he agreed to play you, you must know what would happen....

1) You stuff him out of sight. He comes on claiming you got lucky, got somebody else to play on your account, blah blah.

2) He gets lucky and wins. Nobody will ever hear the end of it (we all lose on this one!!!)

Just let him disappear up his own backside.

I seriously worry for this guy. If he does come out from behind his keyboard to play live one day, I reckon someone could give him a serious shoeing if he carries on like this, which no-one wants to see.

Mandy I was just wanting to back him in the HU stt games, nothing else and I Was wanting at least 2.3 to back him - I have no doubt you're the better mtter but from what I've seen I think builder style should suit hu.

dont see the problem,, Builder excepted teh challenge and the structure as it was set out, he was the one saying mandylou wasnt very good,, if challenge goes ahead and Builder wins he can say he won at a structure he wasnt supposed to be as good as and have all bragging rights,, if he loses he has got an excuse as to why he may have lost and can set a new challenge with a structure of hs own and ask for a rematch

surely the structure is good enough to give both parties a very good indication as to who is the better player overall

I think the most worrying thing about builder is he really thinks that when he does come out from behind the pc that no one will touch him. I think this proves how naive he is.
