The first last man standing is drawing to a close and as we have ten days til the next set of premier league fixtures I thought we'd get the ball rolling now so that we can start the next one with first set of fixtures around the 20th and 21st of February
Here's a recap on the rules etc.
Each full set of premier league fixtures you will pick one premier league team to win, if your team loses or draws you are eliminated. You may pick each team once, and once only. It is your responsibility to check who you've picked before, if I notice in time you've picked someone for the 2nd time I will try and let you know before kick offs but if you don't then pick a second team you will default to the first team in alphabetical order you haven't picked previously.
Likewise if you don't get your team on this thread before the first kick off of the set of fixtures you will also default to the first team in alphabetical order.
Each player is allowed ONE default and ONE default only, if it happens a second time you are eliminated.
In the unlikely event of postponement to the match involving your chosen team you have until first kick off to let me know your new selection, if you don't do this then you will be automatically be given the team who are the shortest odds to win (on betfair) that you haven't picked before.
Entry fee is $20 per entry
You may enter as many times as you want, entry is to be sent by pokerstars to MavisHandbag (west sussex) or on full tilt to awwhescute. If you need to do any other way of payment please contact via msn - Jonstitche*****hot mail. com
The prize money will be payed out to the last man standing, if everyone is eliminated in the same week then all those who were still in at the start of that week will be through to the next round. When we get down to the final 2 or 3 they can agree to chop the remaining monies but it has to be unanimous.
If more than 1 person is still alive come the end of the season then they will share the prize pool between them.
Here are the fixtures we will be using....

I'd of took Pompey this week mate, Ian Dowie in at Hull he was useless at Newcastle. I remember when he was at Charlton took the players out for a run before they played Newcastle at St.James and managed to get them lost. Pompey playing for pride and wont go down here.

maybe we are all better off pooling our 25's with the same rules and having a vote each weekend on who we pick, then letting it ride, or 75% of it or something.
I'd be up for something like that.
