Can I please request that you do not join/merge with any other network and keep everything as it is just now. Software is nice and fast and there were nice little bonuses throughout the year on top of**which I believe is decent anyway.

I'm not sure what all the outrage and fuss is about. The tables are huge value with sportsbettors and southern/eastern europeans. Withdrawing and depositing is the best of any poker site i know and if you need help there is a number you can call and you do get to speak to a person. These are things you all take for granted, however look at the recent problems at Ipoker where winning players are getting withdrawals blocked, and fulltilt where people are watching people dump their money after being hacked with no-one to phone to stop it.
Report Soap January 9, 2010 1:40 AM GMT
some good points ^

However, reason why everyone is so outraged to answer your question is they did this thread about 4-6 weeks ago and then did sweet fa about it and didnt even deal with most queries.
Report WillyWonky January 9, 2010 1:48 AM GMT
Ah yeh I remember the thread but wasn't aware of the outcome of it. Just trying to get some balance anyway, I'm sure the poker team have made a lot of bad decisions but there are a lot of positive things about the site too.

From an mtt point of view, I would like to see more $10 & $20 games & less of the $5 ones.
Also, I quite like the last longest bet, but never go in it, because a table has to open that can't be closed so taking up valuable screen space - this needs to be resolved.

Report Blue and White army January 9, 2010 11:10 PM GMT
OK....against my better judgment I'll waste 2 mins of my life.

1) As stated on your original Q&A........could we please have some higher min buy in tables on your cash tables to stop min buy in fold/shove players ruining games. Even one of your pros recommended this!
2) Could you please address the amount of bots/team players on the cash tables at Flourine level. We all know they are there.....I'm sure you must do as well. Grapes2. yeayeanh, Goblin2, justchuckit, etc........ all have location N/A

That will be all.....there's more, but if you sort the above then I will eat my own hair in J. Clarkson styleeeeeee ;)

why is it so difficult to get a response from your "night team " .They do not have access to information. Considering that 90% of poker is played in the evening it strikes me as odd that this is the time you send your people off.

As Several other sites offer much better leaderboard prizes,,if you want to get thos customers back or even attract new ones...then they need to go up a bit really.

going to be sensible here and ask a couple of things that were asked last time, but ignored by the responce team:

1) why is the software such a drain on a PCs resources, CPU and RAM (i think thats the geeky stuff)

2) why do i get random lobby openings, this seems to happen most frequently when playing an MTT and clicking on the "tourny" tab, causing a fresh lobby screen to pop up

3) are there any plans to change the software to something that is (mostly) bug free, reliable and user friendly. there is no argument that the current layout isnt workable, but the constant bugs, crashes and power draining is not acceptable in this day and age

there, 3 questions, all related to the software, and non of them have been addressed properly, although i beleive there was an umbrella statement last time tht it was undergoing "improvements"

great, no one at betfair has a clue how to run a poker site,so they ask the players then ignore them, i suggest you just employ someone who knows something about poker. the real joke for me is that the only decent strutured nightly tournies you have are really low stakes and the medium staked tournies are turbos, a blind man could see you got that wrong.plenty of people on this forum looking for a job, just pick one( anyone will do) make them head of poker and if they can read they should do a better job than you lot.

you did ask so i 'm telling you what i honestly believe.

nice idea bethammer but most of the staff at betfair poker do actually play already. also how many serious poker players could adapt to going back to a "normal" 9-5 type existance. theres no way you could appoint a player as head of poker because the player would more than likely be on the players side of the fence and not the companies- although this would be good for us lot it wouldnt be so good for them (it is a business at the end of the day).

bethammer could you expand on the fact of the structures please at lower and medium stakes please? What do call a decent structure?Considering there are no Rapid (10 min) structure at all at lower stakes apart from the 3.2k $22 buy-in the rest are either turbos or slow regular(15 min).I find it difficult to agree with you bethammer.Personally playing for 4 to 5 hours at low stakes mtt for peanuts is a bore.Alternativly playing bingo poker at turbo level is fun occasionally but not all the time like betfair have it .The most popular structure most companies use is the 10 minute rapid structure and betfair do not use it for some unknown reasons at lower stakes.I don`t mind playing regular (15 min) if the stakes are higher. So i feel 10 minute(and 8 minute) structure should be introduced at lower stakes mtt

1. are there any plans to migrate away from the old pokerchamps s/w?

3. why should I play poker on betfair?

1 - We are always considering the best options going forward, but were focused on delivering the best possible experience right now, on our current Betfair Poker platform.

2 - Were building on HOT! as the foundation. Were also continuing to develop our micro and small stakes offering, with the launch of 77 ways to boost your bankroll. Weve seen a really positive response to the changes we made targeting the high stakes players (for example reintroduction of the 6 shooter) but would really love more feedback on these if you have any.

3 - There are many reasons, but the key one must be the value you get back as a player at Betfair Poker, be it through promotions, overlays or hospitality at events. We also offer tournaments that are of manageable size and length, and you dont need to be a world champion (or the worlds luckiest person) to be a winner!
