no way they have a9 for a start. possible combo draw, but pre action can easily be a set here, infact set looks the clear fav...
even if u think ur up against a good draw... well ur only flipping... if u cant lay down KK on this board then on what board can you lay KK down at all?! anyway just checking flop is fine imo in circumstances whenr u are sitting behind opponents like this who are hyper aggs trained to cause maximum carnage on flops like this... :D |

this is probably why betting flop is better anyway. cause then at least u are up against a 3 and 4 bet rather than just a 3 bet with action back to you. with a bet already u might just get 3 bet/call or 2 calls or something instead of this crrazy betfair flop action.

Both these 2 are good players imo and therefore you have to be up against either a set or 2 pair or straight and so fold for me.
Why check the flop tho? |

Possibly a good fold but i sense a bit of scared money, would you have made the same fold at nl200, if u cant afford to drop 1 buy in with kk on that board then i guess your playing too high...

I figured ITILTYOU2 would never resist betting on a board like that so why not just let him and check raise him. I was doing a ffs when the reraise came, and I kind of hated folding, but figured one of them would likely have me beat or I would have to dodge a ton of outs. As it was PressTheSix had 7c8c and ITILTYOU2 had QQ, and they ended up all in on the flop. I congratulated myself on getting away so cheaply and then a K came on the turn and a 5 on the river. I hate it when that happens. Doobsnit |

What kind of flop do u want to see with kk though, on any flop someone could have a set, that guy got it all in with QQ it was just unlucky the other guy had 78 for the straight, as i said if u cant afford to drop 1 buy in there your obv playing to high....

oh its not just the sets that worry me
mostly down to the 2 pair and straight possibilities too people love to call raises with suited connectors had the flop been 35J then it's a no brainer |

I was thinking afterwards that if pressthesix had just called I could have got in a real mess. I think leading is probably better than check raising as if ITILTYOU2 was going to bluff at this, he would probably reraise me anyway. If only hec ould have found a reraise pre :(
As it was checking worked out best, but probably for the wrong reasons. And head in hands wasn't meant for Canary, it obviously is the kind of boards that hits a lot of callers at this level pretty hard. |

What i was getting at was if dobs was playing nl200 he wouldnt have given up on the hand so easy, if hed had got the money in there he would of been sitting on 3k so it would of been a good move. obv sometimes your gonna be behind to 2 pair or set or the guy drawing to his flush hits but u got to play your hand and not be scared, i hate nits...
