Seems to be a raft of "players" around again on the 0.5/1 tables.
All with location N/A.
Are these the same lot that had a German location before?
Pause Switch to Standard View Cash flooded with bots again?

Yup, they're the same ones. They disappeared for a while and I thought they'd been banned, but they're back with a new strategy (all now playing half stack rather than short stack). I didn't think their short stack strategy could be working.

Most worryingly, they are still being allowed to play at the same tables as each other.

is this at limit tables or NL ??

if @ limit = bad news

if @ nl = good news

or am i mistaken? Don't know too much about bots, but just can't see them adapting and beating the human mind at nl.

They are not bots, just annoying **s. Kindkitten is my 5th biggest loser on here and he only ever sits with $10 ffs.

There are not bots, per se.

They are a team of players that all play min buy in and just shove, often hit and running and then another either jumping in their seat or they go table to table or return as soon as possible with min buy again.

The annoying thing is when you have 2 or 3 of them at the table, it just kills the game and I can't see it being a positive thing for Betfair, so don't know why it's not looked into.

Originally from Bulgaria or Serbia? And their IPs all changed then to Swedish and then German.

Hold on a minute......ariston has spent quite a bit of time in Belgrade and I can't imagine what would take him there unless it was poker....???? Maybe he has something to do with it. In fact, the more I think about it, I'm pretty certain.

Betfair promised to come back to me about the low minimum buy ins and the short time it allowed people to leave a table before they could rebuy with a short stack months ago......

The time should be 60 or 90 minutes like most other sites.
Report Poolio November 5, 2009 12:56 PM GMT
How long is it on here then? 15 mins?

NL, which is indeed good news :)

I'm not sure if they are bots now or a team of organised players as suggested above. It is the same old Serbian / Bulgarian team, but not all of them are playing short-stack any more. I can't see the benefit in a bot playing some tables with a 10% buyin and some with a 50% buy-in. It almost smells like a poker school now, starting off with short-stack play and then moving on to a more advanced half stack strategy.

Anyway, whatever they are - they suck.

Just saw one chasing a flush draw with JJ66 on the board versus two opponents that were raising and reraising. Needless to say both had a J and the bot-tard paid them off.

Keep them coming I say :)

On the subject of short-stackers, Betfair is the one site that will never ban them due to their unique position with the betting exchange. They make too much money from people bringing their leftover cash from the exchange and donking it on the poker tables.

In the Q&A thread I have suggested a compromise where they set a min buyin of 50bb on the turbo tables, but leave the standard tables asis. That way they keep the business they get from short-stackers but don't lose custom from people who don't want to play with them.

If anyone else thinks that this is the way forward please stick your thoughts on the Q&A thread and maybe we'll get it through.

I am pretty sure it is 30 minutes on betfair.

I think the minimum buyin is $20 at 1/2, though it may be $25. I think even $50 would be enough, as it that is probably enough to make push/fold unprofitable.

Yea min buyins, hit n running are tilting.

I think they should def introduce some 50bb min buyin tables + 60min time before returning to table with less than you left with.

If the bots buy in for me, it will be huge profit for the regs I imagine. Pretty hard i think to lose to an automated playing style !
