The home teams in this round (i.e. the 1 and 2 seeds coming off the bye week) are 30-10 in the last 10 yrs which would make them a 1.33 shot on average

The odds seem to make sense then, as the 3 hot favs look stronger than your typical seed , and the Seahawks stronger than the typical wildcard.

I've been guilty in the past of backing too many dogs in the playoffs.  It's just so tempting to back a team at a tasty price who beat a decent team last week.  I'll probably talk myself into backing a few more this weekend Blush It does look easy to pick holes in just about every team this year

Will JJ Watt flatten Mahomes ?

I'd take Mitchell Schwarz to deal with Watt who is still not 100%.  Wouldn't surprise me if Mahomes breaks down though.  I can't get past seeing Mahomes' kneecap on the side of his leg a few months back and remember thinking at the time there's no chance of him getting through the season in one piece.  The Texans won in KC the week before that when Mahomes was struggling with a different injury

I thought Mahomes was done for the year when I saw it, but he really does seem OK lately. Seems they just popped it back in and gave him a couple of weeks of to be sure !

What do you think about the Ravens resting Jackson and other key players on week 17 ? I didn't like it.  One week off is good. Two weeks off is too much I reckon.  I can't remember specifics but I think at least one other team did this in recent years and then came out sluggish in the playoffs

I fear Jimmy G will throw interceptions.

He has been good late season but this is by far the biggest game of his career. Hopefully they will do well running it.
