You know the tune ...

One Lion on the shirt, la la la la la la,
40 years of hurt, la la la la la la

I think we're all just conditioned to expect the Lions to screw it all up at some stage and go back to being the mediocre 5-11 team that we all know and love!

just back the overs(47pts) and sit back n relax
bet should be in by the end of the 3rd Q.

Bears have won most of the games between the 2, it's a derby in the division I think. Chicago were 6-2 on the road last season.

That's whats holding me back, also the fact that the bears have played the saints and the packers so their losses are against better teams. And the lions have been a bit lucky to still be unbeaten, not sure I trust them to cover the spread.

I haven't put a bet on yet.

I have lost the plot this year as all sense has gone out of the window but I think the bears are a huge price here

The script is probably set for a cutler second half romoesque meltdown but I find it hard to see how the lions will cope with the bears D particularly up front and also forte. If they stop forte they win. Big IF though

I have watched the lions every game this season and they are flattered by their record.

They should really have the same record as Chicago who have been beaten by the saints and packers.

I'm all over the bears in this one SU and also on the hcap

Yeah have to agree d13, i love the lions to make the playoffs and push the best teams if stafford stays fit this year, but i really liked the bears as soon as i seen the line come out for this 1.
Though i wouldnt discount the lions in any games score this season i just feel the bears will challenge them more on defence than any team they have faced this year.
First monday nite game in detroit for a long time and that will bring the pressure imo.
Not sure i like them to win su but i do like them to cover, prob worth putting a lay up at a short price as i wouldnt put anyhting past that lions offence late in the game.

Blimey the line may hit 7 by the start off the game, can get even money +6.5 at the minute. Dont think i can stay awake for the 7, may have to adjust the line to take the 7.

Lions secondary banged up, Johnny Knox over 47.5yds receiving.

My only worry would be Cutler getting him the ball; when he's not getting up off the floor, he may be handing it off to Forte. Also, Wright and Houston aren't a bust and I think they both go tonight. Knox caught 6 passes for 86 yards on 10 targets last year, in two games. GL.

Bears are 13/5 with Billys no juice to pay which is very fair, strangest thing though double result Bears/Bears is also 13/5.They call themselves bookies!

For the first time ever watching an American Football game I actually fear for the safety of a man!
Jay Cutler could get seriously injured in this type of environment..
