interesting. i bet even the bookies dont know how they settle them though. i imagine a bit of a struggle trying to get paid out, if they settle it the wrong way for your bet.

Bill Barnwell had the same bet (49ers < 10 wins) and in his column from last February he states "Sportsbooks don't count that tie as a half-win or as any sort of tiebreaker; for all intents and purposes, that tie was just as good as a loss for this b

I did a lot of googling on this last year after the 49ers tied with the Rams because I had the 49ers to win less than 10 games (they went 11-4-1 in the end). As far as I could find, the standard rule is that a tie counts as a loss for win total purpo

been betting on nfl for 20 years and ive never even thought about it. if the bet is under 8.5 and over 8.5, what happens if a team wins 8 and draws 1?? will that get settled as 8.5 wins or 8 wins?
