...on the brink of quitting over delay in cutting stakes for "crack cocaine" of gambling FOBT from £100 to £2, It has also been reported Ministers who campaigned over FOBT, including former Conservative leader Ian Duncan Smith, are due to meet next week to discuss tabling an amendment to the Finance Bill in an attempt to force a climbdown by the government.   

The new Culture Secretary Jeremy Wright has been urged by Ian Duncan Smith to "think again" and bring forward the date of the change from October to April so that "we can end this scourge". Tom Watson the deputy leader of the Labour Party described the delay as "extremely disappointing" and a "betrayal" of the actions of Wright's predecessors.

Apparently she'd been offered the Culture Secretary Ministerial Department by Bojo, but had decided to spend more time with her young boy and hubby.
