It’s the first major meeting of the season starting at Cheltenham today and there are a plethora of great races for us to enjoy.
Ultra competitive races undoubtedly lead to an air of caution when you’re punting at Cheltenham so don’t over do your stakes. As they say “baby steps” []
1.15 Chelt- Noun De La Thinte & Knowhere (e/w).
1.50 Chelt- King Of The Night (e/w).
2.25 Chelt- Dave’s Dream & Quito De Tresor (e/w).
3.00 Chelt- Heads Onthe Ground & Joe Lively (e/w).
3.35 Chelt- Ponmeoath & Max Bygraves & Chance Du Roy (e/w).
4.05 Chelt- The Giant Bolster (e/w).
A brilliant day of results at Bangor yesterday with the crème de la crème being the 16/1 winner for Aiden Coleman & Venettia Williams.
It was suggested that I perhaps mark up my fancies with a “nap” and “nb” each day, however the more I thought about this last night the more I thought about what my blog objective was all about.[]
Effectively this blog is about sharing what horses I would back-and do back, when in attendance at the race meeting selected. To be honest I never attach any preferred betting importance to any of the runners. Essentially I’m looking for an overall profit on the entire card so you could argue my naps for the day are a staking plan rather than a conventional set of tips. [:silly:]
Todays’ fancies are from Taunton-home of the Bathwick...
It’s finally arrived!!!- the Horseyhotties.com Newcomers Open NH Flat race at 4.10 pm sponsored by a friend of mine as part of the Racing Welfare Charity Day. She’s very excited to be presenting the prizes to say the least-almost on the verge of exploding :D
So, without further ado, let’s get stuck into that Bangor card:
1.10 Bang- Wymott (win).
1.40 Bang- Rock Noir (win).
2.10 Bang- Minella Boys & Summery Justice (e/w).
2.40 Bang- Dhaafer (e/w).
3.10 Bang- Safran De Cotte (e/w).
3.40 Bang- Fujin Dancer (e/w).
4.10 Bang- Tarn Hows & Coolbeg (e/w).
It was four winners and a place at Southwell yesterday which wasn’t bad for a wet and windy miserable Monday. In fact it exceeded all expectations as Monday racing tends to be weaker and poorer racing than most other days of the week.
I’d like to say “hello” to all new readers of the Mull It Over blog from the new Forum Beta at Betfair. It’s nice to reach a new audience for my general codswallop and Betfair now has the functionality to blog. So essentially I’m going to be copying and pasting over what I post here on WordPress over to the Betfair Blog. Those of you reading purely on the Betfair site be aware that this blog also comes all singing and all dancing with bells and lights on :D . If you’d like to see the “topical” pictures that support each post you’ll need...
