BBC says an F1 car has crashed at Duxford during a test. Marussia are there today and female test driver Maria de Villora is supposed to be driving. No more details at the moment  about the condition of the driver or who it was.

I merely referred to (a) women drivers and (b) the validity of a test when testing in season is banned...

It transpires that driving down a runway does not constitute a formal test!

just shows that no matter how safe you make it, you can never compensate for freak accidents. hope this girl gets a good pundit, journalistic role or whatever else she might want to do. feel really sorry for her Sad
