Silverstone is an utter ****-tip and will be even more of a ****-tip in the rain...

Read today that Hamilton is doing a leg with the Olympic fame on Monday .....

maybe they've already decided the race winner Mischief
Report worcesterwilly July 3, 2012 11:18 AM BST
No doubt he will trip up and drop the flame and blame the security guard for cutting him up!
Report Zazu July 3, 2012 1:13 PM BST
vccbet are only 11/4 hamilton but if you back him and he doesnt win theyll give you stake back as a freebet. (only up to £25 though)

mclaren should be very strong here so ive done that and had backed webber becasue he always goes well here and red bull appears to be the the best car

Ladcrooks going 13/8 about a safety car - heavy rain's predicted for all 3 days so I'm all over that.
Report worcesterwilly July 4, 2012 3:07 PM BST
is that 13/8 about Hamilton blaming the safety car for having him off??
Report Zazu July 4, 2012 3:22 PM BST
im not sure about that 13/8 safety car.

rain was forecast all weekend for the motogp but none of the monsoon stuff ever arrived. There was intermittent rain throughout but the track dried freakishly quickly because of the wind.

If it does rain Sauber 50/1 looks massive to me Confused
Report ocukstinky July 4, 2012 7:14 PM BST
It's british summer, it's well worth a punt tbh, you know what they're like nowadays.. any sign of rain and they'll start behind the SC. I'd love to see a Sauber win especially Perez but I can't see a repeat of Malaysia. I'd take a stab at MSC here at 20s, his luck finally took a turn for the better in Valencia and he's driving smart at the minute, the rain may well help him.
Report Zazu July 4, 2012 8:52 PM BST
if they start behind the safety car the market is void

Chances are theyll have at least one wet/damp practice so it would have to be insanely wet for them to start behind the safety car
Report ocukstinky July 4, 2012 10:03 PM BST
Not with Ladcrooks, backed it on there before and they paid out when the race was started behind the SC.
Report Zazu July 6, 2012 12:00 PM BST

one question.. i bet on vettel top 3 Qualifying. if the session ends now, will i win or loss?
Report book July 7, 2012 1:45 PM BST
if hes in top 3 now you win if not u lose, ive got perez for pole,so hope the rain keeps coming.

Report arfachance July 7, 2012 1:56 PM BST
No, it's q2 that counts
Report book July 7, 2012 1:57 PM BST
cos i know the rules & perez will be on pole if they dont come back out.
Report book July 7, 2012 1:58 PM BST
even if they come back out, surely they wont beat perez's time in those conditions,so 3/1 is nicking money.

Report Zazu July 7, 2012 3:47 PM BST
inters ffs Devil
Report PaulK July 7, 2012 10:50 PM BST
My 6th sense tells me its going to be a dry race tomorrow -

So Ferrari will lose that speed they have on the inters, leaving it to the Red Bulls to cruise home, so will go for Webber as seems nice that he is a better price than Vettel but has qualified ahead... and Schumi looks a tasty price for 3rd on grid too.

And if there is a special for Maldonado and Hamilton clashing in the first lap I will take that too. However, being patriotic I will hope it doesn't happen and that he shows some pace in the dry to make it a memorable British sporting weekend. To go with cricket, 2 victories in the tennis? and yellow in Tour de France!
Report Zazu July 8, 2012 7:44 AM BST
F1, Wimbledon final and an epic looking moto3 all clash Cry

Id take a Webber win but showers meaning dry and inters should produce the best racing.
Report worcesterwilly July 8, 2012 10:17 AM BST
IMHO with heavy showers about and likliehood of safety car on a number of occasions it will be akin to buying a lottery ticket!

It will be all down to who is on the right tyre at the right time - pit strategy and a modicum of luck....

The kind of race Eddie Jordan would have loved......shades of Spa in 99....

I wouldn't put it past Button to drive in to a podium from 18th as he wont have to worry too much about tyre strategy and may have scope to take more risks in what rubber he uses and when...
Report Zazu July 8, 2012 11:08 AM BST
hamilton said the mclaren couldnt get heat into the inters yesterday
Report SamH_123 July 8, 2012 12:25 PM BST
2/1 SC no is huge.. dry at the moment, might not even rain and there's only been 1 SC in the last 5 races here

first lap leader, back or lay alonso?
Report catfloppo July 8, 2012 12:37 PM BST
I've backed Schumacher - its about time he and brawn pulled one out of the bag, grojean because he looked really quick all through practice and kovleinen simply because he shouldn't be 1000 with the chance of rain.
