would be very hard on Buemi who is better than many in the lower end teams!

Also Bruno Senna exceeded everyones expectations in a half decent car...

Wonder if these lower teams are waiting on the 4 young red bull drivers situation to sort itself out, riccardo has to be found a drive hes the man seen to replace webber in 2013, guess caterham, williams, force India would jump at him with the red bull cash and his talent.  If a deal can't be done, then algurassi or beami would have to make way for him at torro rosso which would be a shame for either of them.

Buemi or algi not sure they could drive for another team for a year or so, if they were released without red bull backing.
Report fkqmz December 6, 2011 10:34 AM GMT
now looks as if buemi might stay.

Ricciardo:
"At the moment it seems like Toro Rosso are going to stay with who they've got," Ricciardo told the West Australian. "It wasn't put down 100 per cent, but it was the wording I was making out.

"There's a good chance if I'm on the grid next year it's going to be with another non-Red Bull outfit, but I guess the good news is I'm still contracted by Red Bull. They've agreed to continue with me."

Can't see where there's going to be a space for him though. HE thinks he's going to caterham which would make sense except that caterham have already confirmed kovi/trolli ???????
Report Fashion Fever December 6, 2011 10:39 PM GMT
torro rosso both give there drivers 3 years to prove themselves both have a year left, but think one of them will have to make way if a seat cant be found for riccardo.

could see riccardo at williams they need the cash and left one seat free, trulli would want fortune off red bull for his contract think its a non goer.

had a few dimes on riccardo @1000 in case he replaces webber a few races in the season.

Grosjean confirmed at Lotus(Renault) today

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/96698

also have heard there's a chance albeit an unlikely one that petrov will now go to marussia - obviously under pressure from the sponsors and timo will get left out in the cold. harsh indeed!
Report worcesterwilly December 9, 2011 4:25 PM GMT
I usually agree with you.....but I do think Petrov deserves a decent drive as dos Bruno Senna after what he did for Renault....

I really dont know about Kimi - the talent is obvious but will he still have the desire.....indeed did he ever have the desire to match his undoubted talent??...

Glock deserves a drive too....

A few of the newcomers are unknown quantities and one has to ask how much longer Kovalainen and Trulli can live off the past???
Report thebandit December 9, 2011 8:42 PM GMT
Timo Glock has signed a 3 year contract comitting him to Marussia Virgin until 2014 and with Charles Pic ready for next year too Petrov is, as you say, unlikely IMVHO fkqmz.

Some seat...more like a park bench....

It'll go to whoever has the deepest pockets!

Looks like no room for Sutil....unless it is in the nick when he faces possible assault charges.....shades of Bertrand Gachot???
