If Vettel wins and Alonso finishes 5th they will both have 256 points.... who would win the title?

Tedium beyond belief...

Alonso 6th considering pit stops, behind Rosberg and Petrov, has to overtake both if Vettel wins
Report JustWinBaby November 14, 2010 2:00 PM GMT
Lot of oversteering by Alonso at the moment. Just past half race distance
Report Dylan1975 November 14, 2010 2:04 PM GMT
Hamiltons front tyres gone, if he pits thats only 1 place Alonso has to make up. Could be an exciting finish!!
Report Guybrush Threepwood November 14, 2010 2:04 PM GMT
Looking like another German champion.
Report Dylan1975 November 14, 2010 2:05 PM GMT
yeah to be honest Vettel should have won the championship with a couple of races to spare.

How terrible is this track (and the sport in general) quicker cars cant pass
Report JustWinBaby November 14, 2010 2:11 PM GMT
Coming to a stage where Alonso is going to need a retirement from someone ahead of him.
Report Mike0002 November 14, 2010 2:16 PM GMT

Laying Vettel now. Fingers crossed for an engine blowout.

This track is an absolute joke. It is stupidly easy and there are no heavy braking areas for overtaking. F! needs fuel stops because this season, despite the hype, has been tiresome in the extreme. I don't recall any of the big names making any significant overtaking manouvres, and with only tyres to change in the single mandatory pitstop there is zero action. Luck determines it.
Report Dylan1975 November 14, 2010 2:40 PM GMT
its quite telling that even when Alonso needs to do something crazy he can't even get close enough to try it.
Report STEPTOES YARD November 14, 2010 2:41 PM GMT
All about money rather than if track makes for good racing

Report worcesterwilly November 14, 2010 3:46 PM GMT
Guybrush...

Ferraris pitstop was the only logical thing they could do at the time...they had to mark Webber (if you'l excuse the pun).....they could'nt have counted on Rosberg Kubica and Petrov doing what they did...in hindsight they made a bad call but at the time it was totally logical...
