do FIA consider equal lap times as dead heat or do they give it to the one recorded earlier? Means, does the time screen showthe lap recordrd later as fastest lap?

How much did Vettel improve Alonsos earlier time today?

Not sure - in qualifying it's whoever sets the time first, so I guess that would apply in the race too. Have never heard of equal times in a race though.

market rules say dead heat rules apply, but maybe the operators won't even realise it?
