What do you love best about the silverstone weekend?

And will the upgrades to Mclaren mean that 4.5 current price is great value?

4.5 is a great price TW take it - their upgrades are going to improve them a lot
Report fkqmz July 2, 2010 7:53 AM BST
i agree the new track section should suit mclaren more than red bull as its one slowish corner a 2 straights so 4.5 is definately the better price. should mean a better view for us as well!

my favourite thing about silverstone is.......... probably getting a chance to properly concentrate on the gp2 although i dont think theres any real stars in there at the moment. if you get one of the kangaroo things, book it online cause it'll be 20 quid cheaper than picking it up there.

Macs update for SS is their biggest of the season. They will have blown diffuser and other new bits on the car. The other big teams have already got blown diffusers and the macs managed a good performance agianst them last time out so I expect them to leap to a clear advantage at the front at SS.
Report GPT July 2, 2010 1:52 PM BST
With the updates and the best driver in Hamilton that's a great price.
Report fkqmz July 2, 2010 2:43 PM BST
oh dear, please bear in mind that maggots and becketts will STILL be red bull territory. Their car eats up corners like that and they will be faster. the question is, has mclaren made up enough to stay close early in the lap, and win the time back later on?

btw 1.01 mclarens updates are challenged by another team next weekend. They dont seem to have an ounce of integrity left these days and a major update is a metaphorical open goal for any team that might want to pick holes in regulations.

I dont think the macs will that far behind the Rb's in the maggots/beckets parts now with the extra downforce the blown diffuser will give them. Plus their straightline speed advantage is going show up extra at SS
