We only want a trade

10 Dec 11 18:30
In the second race, Bahmian Lad is in decent all weather form, up 3lb for winning last time out might not stop him being prominent long enough for his price to fall in running and give us a trade. Since being given a break from the all weather (not turf) he has traded in all four subsequent all weather races. he is available to back at 16.0 leaving us needing an in running lay off at

Lay off at 10.5 for at least a 1 pt all green
Lay off at 9.4 for a minimum 1.3 all green or
Lay off at 8.4 for at least  1.7 pt all green profit.

Roudoudou Ville

10 Dec 11 14:28
Roudoudou Ville in the 2.30 catches the eye for trading purposes, this Victor Dartnell trained chaser is a fast improver and won a nice race at Sandown last time out, he makes most appeal here at a nice price for trading purposes. He has traded in all but his debut Chase and should go well again today. He is available to back at 14.5 leaving us needing:

Lay off at 9.6 for at least a 1 pt all green or
Lay off at 8.6 for a 1.3 all green or
Lay off at 7.6 for at least a 1.7 pt all green.

The all weather looks best for trading this afternoon and in the 1.50 race I fancy that a horse upped in whilst also making his handicap debit can give us nice trade. At this course last time out Pulsatilla was put in her place well and truly by Rizcar but I'm banking that the Brian Ellison trained filly will come on leaps and bound for the step up in distance and for the step into handicaps for the first time. The mandatory three races have given her quite a fair handicap mark to open up with. She has been a bit one paced over three efforts over seven furlong but today's 11 furlongs should see her in a different light. She is currently available to trade at 12.5 which leaves us needing in running lay off prices of:

Lay off at 8.2 for a 1 pt all green or
Lay off at 7.4 for a minimum 1.3 all green or
Lay off at 6.6 for a minimum 1.7 all green profit.

A star will make us a trade

08 Dec 11 16:16
A consistent sort where trading is concerned, the Dean Ivory trained four year old filly has been available to trade in fourteen of her last fifteen races and will hopefully do so again this afternoon. She has decent form on Polytrack and has traded in all nine of her races at Kempton. Shane Kelly is her regular jockey so similar tactics should see her be there or thereabouts at the the furlong pole to see her price drop sufficiently to give us an all green scree. Larkrise Star is available to back on the exchanges at 6.6 which leaves us needing in running lay off prices as follows:

Lay off at 4.3 for a 1 pt all green screen or
Lay off at 3.95 for a 1.3 all green profit or
Lay off at 3.5 for a 1.7 all green profit.

Eurika..

07 Dec 11 18:40
In the next race at Kempton, the 6.50 a horse that is beginning to show some consistency since switching stables is the John Best trained Ereka. Since moving to his stable, three all weather runs have produced two thirds and a second place for the the three year old filly. Ridden by Luke Morris each time the filly has traded to half its Betfair SP all three times and can go well enough for us the evening to give us another trade from a big initial price. Available to back at 18 leaves us needing in running prices of:

Lay off at 11.5 for at least a 1 pt all green or
Lay off at 10.5 for at least a 1.3 all green profit or
Lay off at 9.6 for a 1.7 all green screen,

All to our normal stakes.

A diamond of a trade

07 Dec 11 18:00
In the next at Kempton the 6.20 it is here that I think we can get a trade this evening in the shape of the Diamond Racing owned and David Evans trained Valadan. The seven year old gelding has some decent form on the all weather and although he doesn't win very often when he is in form he will be available to trade more often than not. A winner last time out over this course and distance, he can go well enough again tonigh despite a 6lb penalty. Matthew Cosham is again in the saddle and he is available to back tonight at 8.8 leaving us needing in running lay offs at:

Lay off at 5.8 for a 1 pt all green or
Lay off at 5.2 for a minimum 1.3 all green profit or
Lay off at 4.7 for a 1.7 pt all green screen.

Good morning folks. Just a few thoughts for today at this early stage, taken from my ratings I've listed a few below that may shorten up and provide trading opportunities this afternoon. I've put some guide prices on based on their current betfair price or their current price at the bookies, its always  difficult this early though, some will drift though and make the trades easier.

Folkestone,

2.40 Kanturk 8.4 and drifitng, temperamental sort could drift further, current price you will need a lay off of either 5.0 or 5.5 for a 1 or 1.3 all green, as always to normal stakes, 2pts win, 3.35 lay or 3.05 lay.

3.10 Reymysterio 7 with Sporting Bet, 8.6 exchanges, lay off at 5.1 or 5.6

Sedgefield.

3.20 Funky Munky  5.3, lay off at 3.15 or 3.45

Southwell.

12.00 Suddenly Susan  7/1 at VC, 8.2 here, lay off at 4.9 or 5.4. Nicholls has 3 in this so there could be some price movements.

13.30 Mottley Crewe 6.0, lay off at 3.6 or 3.95. Same race Island Legend may trade 15. lay 9.0 or 9.8

A specialist

05 Dec 11 11:59
A course specialist at Lingfield this afternoon is where we hope to get a decent trade for us, he won nicely at the course last time out and is still off a handy mark despite a 3lb rise. His polytrack record is really good being available to trade in seven of his eight races in the other he was badly hampered early doors and was never put in the race after that. Available to back at 7.4 leaves an inrunning trade of 4.8 for a 1 pt all gtreen or lay off at 4.4 for a 1.3 all green.

Dancing all the way

03 Dec 11 16:58
The all weather evening meeting at Wolves throws up a trading opportunity tonight, in the first race a consistent type is the 4 year old colt Master of Dance. Master of Dance has been available to trade in nine of his last ten races on both the turf and the all weather. He has ran well over this course recently, the deistance is fine and Joe Fanning has a successful trading reccord of 3/3 on him. He is normally ridden up with the pace and should be there or thereabouts still at the furlong marker to allow his price to drop enough for us to get a trade. Available to back at 13.5 ;eaves needing an in running lay off price of:

Lay off at 8.8 for a 1 pt all green screen or
Kay off at 8.0 for a minimum 1.3 all green profit or
Lay off at 7.2 for a 1.7 all green screen
